    The Gospel of Grace:

I think your understanding is skewed by the wordings of Paul. Paul was no innovator of the gospel and had no different or superior access to greater understanding than any other apostle. Paul was indeed the least of the apostles. I think the fact that we Gentiles are the target of Paul's...

Grace is the power to become

I think you are confusing coming to Christ and attaining to Christ. I am using exact biblical terminology here. Coming to Christ is through the gift of repentance by the Holy Spirit. But we must choose afterwards whether we will run the race of faith or not...most today choose to call it quits...

    The Gospel of Grace:

I leave it to readers of this thread to consider the words of Paul 2Co_4:3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: Gal_1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. Do people...

    The Gospel of Grace:

Can you see that as Mediator between the Father and men...Jesus took on flesh in order to make a way for those who would follow Him to walk as He walked. What I see missing from so many professing believers is faith ...not just in what Jesus accomplished but also in the attaining of the walk...

    1 Co. 3:16-17

You impute righteousness on yourself??? Why would yo do such a thing?
  6. Episkopos

Why you cant lose your salvation.

If you bring the standard low enough to satisfy the needs of the natural man you get what Kidron is proposing...
  7. Episkopos

    The Gospel of Grace:

My sights are on Christ. If I hear a voice out in left field I call out to them to help them with their direction. It is the least I can do to help fellow seekers. :) Have you perhaps an interest in others NOT attaining more than say...yourself? "When I examine myself and my methods of...

Why you cant lose your salvation.

A Spiritual Christian does not sin.

The important thing is His presence within you and you abiding in that presence. Then it doesn't matter when Jesus comes back. How do we foster that presence??? Why have so few contemplated (as in ACTS 2) a closer connection to the body of Christ in the form of a community life in the Spirit...

A Spiritual Christian does not sin.

Very encouraging!!!!! We are either dead In Christ or else dead To Christ.

    Are you slaved?

Eph_4:17 This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,

Listening to what Jesus says about the church in our time.

Who is listening to what the Spirit is saying???

    The process of salvation

Many are taught that the race of faith is finished after the first step. Imagine watching a race where the gun goes off and almost all the runners take one step and then remain petrified on the spot. It leaves you scatching your head...how do people get so indoctrinated as to miss the whole...

Grace is the power to become

Again both your options are from men. Here is a question that is meant to help you...although I don't expect your defensive mechanisms will let you actually listen... (such is the conundrim of one who is still captive by the old sin nature) How did Ananias know where to find Paul in Damascus???

    1 Co. 3:16-17

"Being holy is not a list of do’s and don’ts. Holiness is measured by how much of Christ’s spirit/character we reflect to those around us. " So far so good! :) "To those that believe our holiness is based on our behavior..." Here you contradict the previous thing you said. We are all known by...

Now if you only understood what faith really is.

    The Sanctification of Man

It appears to me that too many Christians want to enjoy the thrill of feeling right but are not willing to endure the inconvenience of being right. Like having a lamp but forgetting the oil...

Grace is the power to become

That's great!!!! I came at it from the other direction. I was basically suicidal and had no more hope or wish to live when God came in to convict me of my sins...I even went to the RC's to confession...but my sins were a weight I could no longer bear. I read all the books in my apt until there...

    The Gospel of Grace:

This is the goal of all religions...and the subject of many new year's resolutions. But have you no more respect for the gospel and the power of God than this? Is there not more power in the blood of Christ than what your declaration suggests? Was Jesus just a holy man who sinned and called...
