If that is not total confusion then I don't know what is!!

I know that you will have seen this posted already...but here it comes again!! Obviously myself and KBcid are having the same conversation as yourself and @Stranger .. You are choosing to add to the finished work of Christ! Matt 5 is easy and so clear..Jesus is getting His point...

@KBCid Brother if you believe that with all you striving and effort you will end up being perfect, I am sorry, you are somewhat deluded. It is the impossible task. Just like all the many verses you quoted from the sermon. Impossible. I would have thought that you could see that clearly and...

Haha..you hit me while I am down LOL Hey, forget back flips. I am just so happy that I have not fallen down this week. Last week I fell once...the week before it was THREE times...not a good habit to cultivate!! So backflips no...but I AM now walking heel to toe in a straight line , and then...

Salvation as we know is a gift, as free as the air we breathe. It is obtained, like any other gift, without price there are no other terms. "To him that worketh not, but believeth." * Yet on the other side of things, if we are to gain the crown that Paul spoke of we must work for it...

I used to think about all these things too..when I was as young as you? ( 55 right?) You will find as the days go by you will change your thinking as easily as changing socks. The trouble is, 'everyone' is willing to tell you "just how it all will be" ..everyone has their own ideas about...

When all is said and done it seems that much of what is seen as conflicting beliefs on this site really come down to different wording. In a nut shell if we do as Jesus said and " Abide in Me and I in you..you WILL ( not must, not try, etc..) but will bring forth much fruit.." So..Abiding in...

@Stranger No, it still won't work. I just tried and it says " You may not start a conversation with the recipient. Stranger." Maybe @lforrest can check it for us and see WHY!! If and when I click on anyone else's name...a black box comes up saying info...( male, female, Texas or...

I do miss the odd post here and there...but that is because it is a busy site..with probably hundreds of threads a day. That is the reason I click on " Follow Thread" even if it isn't one that I have posted in. Once " following a thread" it will automatically show up in the red ALERT when...

I could do back-flips until about 60 years ago. :D :) and that is true. LOL

I liked what Amadeus said.." we get hung up on 'time'...whereas God is always in the NOW.' Which actually makes us both right... = God said it, God is saying it, and His word stands, until the end of time. :)

I am confused...Your post #428 which I gave a 'like' to...and then now your post #430 seems to contradict what you said in #428!! Or maybe I am just too tired and brain-dead tonight and can't read in a straight line. When Stranger said the 10 commandments did not reach him...I am sure he was...

AMEN...Totally!! Yay!

@Stranger Hi there I wrote a Inbox to you...but I am obviously blocked :) My Message wouldn't go through . Anyway this is what I wrote. ======= Sorry to hear that your head is being messed with ...by your disappearing post!! It has to be a tech blip. I am sure it is not being done...

Jesus is the Rock ..and made without hands. But I actually believe it is Jesus the Head and the Overcomers from Chap 3 of the Revelation. The mature sons out of each of the seven Churches.

Thanks, that is a good one. I haven't seen you for a while. Bless you....Helen

@Angelina So very sorry to hear this...yes indeed...my hubby and I always pray together for 'special needs' like this ..before bed...we will count him and his family in. ✟

:D Well there you go..just wanting to be different !! :p Maybe you just need to turn off your device and back on again...that is what usually fixes my problems...and we all know that having a Apple is the answer to all computerish needs. LOL

I don't collect anything...wish I did..then the family would know what to buy me for birthdays. I love gardening..even weeding...so much so I totally forget to eat or drink...I can stay out there for hours! :)

@Stranger Yep...for sure. I checked your page and found it...it as you say is still there!! ...when I clicked on it , it also shows the other guys post also. You are right!! But on clicking on it neither Iforrest or Amadesus' posts show up!!! ...maybe there are two look alike threads...
