I can agree with that @FHII .... I know that the Billy Graham foundation has millions....yet I never heard anyone even whisper that he was 'after the $'s ' But, there again...the money just "came in" for him. I don't ever remember Billy Graham ever asking for money, or telling the congregation...

Then do so, and stop telling " little men" what you think they should be doing! Everyone else also wants to hear God's word...that would be the Words that are actually ANOINTED and alive...and not just 'the dead letter of the word'. We can actually hear from God for ourselves...last time I...

That is what I was going to write when I first saw this thread. " These people" who know what we "ought to be" doing ...don't seem to be actually DOING IT themselves. Whenever I have responded to this guy , all he posts back is a bunch of scriptures. I don't think he can actually...

Yes indeed...without trees we will all become prairies!! I didn't know until a friend old me, that trees bring clouds and rain. ( rain forrests etc) No trees means no clouds and no rain...and eventually desert.

I so often wonder that when people post there's kinds of ' guilt-trip' threads....just how much their own walk is " pure and holy". Or does their own condemnation like just company. ( but I do agree that rapture is a con. But we've already got LOTS of those threads going....)

AMEN.....Well said. If " sowing seed, and increase" was really believed by the leadership and ministries. They would not be telling the flock to " sew seed to their ministries" BUT they would be sewing THEIR seed money ....by giving it out to the flock as they left there meetings!!! It is...

@bbyrd009 ...I am wondering if you have storms etc where you are?? Been thinking of you...just in case. Hope all is well down there?

................ Changed my mind....I had not read the opening post correctly! But....I have not 'been deceived' by believing once saved always saved. I do believe it...and that is where I stand.

.... ~ Ann Voskamp ~ This seems a bit BIG...hope it doesn't "fall off the page."

Firstly I never have any idea on which Forum Board to post a thread!! They have too many to choose from! Hope this is right? :) I am still trying to work this out...open to more thoughts or 'opinions'. :D The other day when writing something, I wrote the word 'conscience' after posting...

@aspen WOW!! Re that photo......the smoke is worse than ours here. Thankfully our has moved on or dispersed. Sadly there fires are not abating. They need heavy rain to help the firefighters. We here are now very cool at night...but today it is going to be back up to 30C 85F by noon. No...

@bbyrd009 Thanks for responding...I was not expecting it. I do know what you mean about the word "christian" ...many have brought shame upon it that's for sure!

You are very harsh and judgemental. I see no compassion. :(

Isn't that what deception is all about? =. Perceiving something as 'good' when it actually is poison for us. The thing that most of us forget is that they were told not to eat of the tree of ( of the knowledge of GOOD and evil. We still insist on judging things ( both spiritual and...

When you join a thread and post something...do you always click "Watch Thread" on the top right of the page? Then it will show up when you click "New Posts" in the Black Bar above here. If I start a new thread ( very rarely ) I also click on the "watch thread"....then it will also pop up in...

Hey @bbyrd009 ....Have you not read about assurance? 1 John 5:1 "These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life. " Hebrews 10:22 "let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our...

I just read all the 'new posts'...so I read this one, and lo, there you were. If you read post #21 you'd have seen that I agree..it is not a worth while thread. Sadly some just can't resist it.

I just read all the 'new posts'...so I happened to read this one, and there you were.
