British/Scottish. Now 30 yrs in Canada...but my kids were British born.

Awesome...I missed that one...it slipped by me at the time. Was the guy a real atheist if we said:- " the blood of Jesus is 2000 years old..." etc I thought that they didn't believe that there was a Jesus. So many just deny Him. We don't hear much in "church" any more about the power in...

Thankfully He seems to have slowed down a bit now...and I notice that some threads he started 'have no takers'... I wondered why he kept on posting in the " Christian Only" boards. It doesn't seem as if there is anyone on this site who would be 'greatly stumbled' by him. I think most are...

Interesting thread for today's " atmosphere". For years I was strongly against crosses worn as jewellery. The cross cost Jesus everything...a high price ....for us, for His love and obedience for His Father. But now, I occasionally wear one now. With the threat of ' another religion'...

I won't even bother to interact or respond for a 'discussion' with a rude person who keeps saying " You people". Obviously you enjoy bullying, not discussing. Have at it.

chrisytiang said :- Tell me, by which law is it sin to murder? The Law of LOVE. Because Love covers a multitude of sins. ( 1 Peter) 37 "Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great...

Okay...Bless you! ✟

Quote :-and this is precisely why many of you will be cast out on the day of judgment, because you are "lawless", And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’ (Matthew 7:23 [ESV]) Oh I see, you are "one of those". "One of those"...

That is what I mean...what is your question , post, or discussion?

Okay, but what is the "discussion" part on that? ;)

It took them a while to come out from under the law...especially Peter..that is why Paul as it says in Acts " Withstood him to his face"... Paul was the grace man...until finally Peter 'saw it' ..on the roof top, the vision of the clean and unclean animals ...and God says- " Peter, call not...

What Mungo said ...( and a bit more. ha!) Jesus said :- "For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven." He was showing them that the law can never be attained to by...

I was reading where you were both chatting about sin. What about this in Matthew 12 :- "But when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto him, Behold, thy disciples do that which is not lawful to do upon the sabbath day. But Jesus said unto them, "Have ye not read what David did, when he was an...

What Mungo said...for Canada too. We are in a mess ...but we "see beyond" into the Real world....this world is not our home.... ✟

Again, you are posting in a "Christians Only" board.

dattaswami8 ....I notice that you post a lot on the "Christian's Only" board. As you yourself teach that there is 'another way'...I think you should post on the 'other religions' board. We believe that Jesus is the Son of God.. "For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given...

“If you find that Christianity exhausts you, draining you of your energy, then you are practicing religion rather than enjoying a relationship with Jesus Christ. Your walk with the Lord will not make you weary; ( if it is with the LORD ) it will invigorate you, restore your strength, and...

AWESOME!! That is the 'real-thing'. Thanks.

1) God doesnt 'exist' ....2) God does not "need" any proof of His existence ......GOD JUST IS!! I am sorry, it took me a while to 'join the dots.' I have only just realized that (as your user name states)..you are a Swami ('master') From India. No wonder I couldn't reconcile some of...

Okay, I can see that and hear what you are saying there. I guess what I had a problem with was the opening statement "The way to cancel your sins" Maybe I just got hung up on the wording of it. It reads like 'we', humankind, can 'of ourselves' cancel our own sin by doing something. So I...
