What a sad old man you are Twinc/Jim You must be about 86..88 now!! In all the years I have 'known' you, you haven't changed or softened one bit. You are still as harsh and judgemental. When I read your posts , I see no " fingerprints" of Father God. When I read what you write...I don't...

Thank you for your reply.. I doubt any of us enjoy suffering...but we do know it is good 'for' us! We know that it says that Jesus was made perfect ( complete) through suffering. Heb 2 "For it became Him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto...

Love that post..well said...excellent! Strong nodding of the head here:) I also liked Job's post too :- Quote....."I believe if there was proof of His existence, there would be no need for faith and the sacrifice of His only begotten would have been for nothing." Amen to that also. .

Amen...thanks for that..good word. Yes, so I was right...it was just the different 'wording' that I didn't quite jive with :) I thought so, but just wanted to check for sure. I liked what God showed you in the 4 loves, never 'seen' that one before. amen.

:( o_O If you say so!!! You obviously see no flaws in yourself O exalted one....I have met many of your ilk before...I am so glad for you that you have reached perfection before everyone else. Keep on going

Twinc I see that you are still a very rude and judgmental man...age has not caused you to mellow at all! Who died and made you God and and Judge, or gave you the right to accuse others of non-repentance and blasphemy!!

Interesting thread. Some Quakers do...and the old Apostolic Church that my grandad went to in London did. Quote:- < In 2006, researchers at the University of Pennsylvania took brain images of five people while they spoke in tongues. Their research was published in The New York Times. The...

Twinc, I don't think that you really understand what blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is..and more importantly, ..what is is NOT!!

To Mary. Blessings to you. I am with Job on this one...( you mentioned Matt 19) :) Jesus as we know..even in what is known as 'The Sermon on the Mount'...Jesus was showing them that He was RAISING the law even higher...from works to the heart...higher, unattainable ... If indeed it was...

Skyangel said:- "An immature seed is as perfect as a mature seed. It makes no difference at what stage of life the seed happens to be, it is perfect , whole, complete, at every single stage of its life as long as it lives and continues to bear fruit. Dead seeds cannot bear fruit. " Sorry, that...

I personally do not believe that an unrepentant heart is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. God is much bigger than that. He created mankind, knowing full well that man was 'but dust , self centred and very stupid.' We hear a lot of false teaching, period!! Always have, always will. As...

Well, obviously you , as are others ....are welcome to your opinion. For that is all it is , an opinion. The Day of full revelation, and of who of us understood what correctly, or not ....,is not yet here... I myself would not want to be found " Sitting in the seat of the scornful" or , as...

Thank you for your response.

That is a good point Job..never quite thought of it like that! True..if God took all protective 'walls' away from around us , we'd all be soon vaporized. :) I guess it was because he had not reached his 'three score years and ten'..that I had pause to wonder why he 'went early'. But, re...

I think where it states our 'faith' under our avatar ..her 'Realist' caption is really saying 'Atheist'. And that is her choice...but I would just like to know why some people seem to feel that when it says "Christians Only" above a Board, that it doesn't apply to them! They do still have lots...

perrero....a good study. I have enjoyed reading through the posts..( well, "some" of the posts :) ) You did say -Quote "When I study the story and see that there can be a hidden meaning to it, I attempt to decipher that meaning BUT in doing so I know that I may be treading on water (or wine in...

Only asking here, ..not being picky.;) But I was wondering why there is no moderation when a member continues to post on a "Christians Only" board and break the flow of a conversation and discussion. If you check the " Why Water To Wine" thread in the Bible Study board....from posts #50 to #75...

to Skyangel. As "I" see it...We are 'not yet' fully one with Truth...The day and the hour is not yet here. In the our 'spiritual position' in Christ, yes, ...but the race is not yet over, our feet and walk still get dusty on this earth...as Paul said " Until we all COME to .." As we walk...

A family member died 24 hours ago..suddenly. A bad headache, wife took him to the Emerg. He walked in with her, answered questions clearly, they put him onto the bed, he fell asleep, and never woke up again. 63. They found he had a bad brain bleed, from a stoke...when they couldn't wake him...

Interesting post. But if I can ask a question, without a snappy response....can you tell me why you take every opportunity that you can to " bash tongues" ? It must get a bit tiring ( or always on your mind) The thing is, I do not like liver or kidneys...so I just don't ever eat them...
