Hebrews was WRITTEN to the hebrew people. It is applicable to all people. But you must take it in context. He was not calling them brothers and sisters as fellow believers, but as fellow countrymen and women

1 John 3: No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him. 9 No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seedremains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God.

The narrow gate And it is nto just calvinism. That is the mistake many make, they are angry against the thought of eternal security because they are against calvinism. One can be against calvinism and still believe in eternal security.

I am tired of this whole depend on self and not rely on God thing (NOSAS) I am also tired of the gnostic excuse to ignore what John said. 22 Who is the liar? It is whoever denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a person is the antichrist—denying the Father and the Son. 23 No one who denies the...

You assume he means in christ. There is nothing that says that. He was talking to the whole of the hebrew population. It is foolish to think they were all saved.

Nope He said we, we included himself. If he claimed to be without sin, he said flat out he would be decieved. A child of God would not need to confess their sin if they were sinless.

19 They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us. For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us; but their going showed that none of them belonged to us.

They could be like then many were. Many also tried to achieve eternal life by the law. The book of Hebrews is to the hebrew people. Not all of them were saved.

If we say we have no sin, we decieve ourselves. I agree with you
  14. Eternally Grateful

Jesus said otherwise. He called Judas not only an unbeliever, but a devil (john 6)

"Salvation" is the gift of Eternal Life - it's FOREVER.

We need context 16 Who were they who heard and rebelled? Were they not all those Moses led out of Egypt? 17 And with whom was he angry for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies perished in the wilderness?18 And to whom did God swear that they would never enter his rest if...
