And you prove your inability to discern what people say. I never said such a thing. if you would have read what I said, you would have seen the following and remember, that is the post you are responding to. So it makes it twice as bad Think about it? I have Abraham was saved the moment...

    Non-denominational Church

I remember growing up as a kid and a visitor coming to church in Jeans, he was harassed by the deacons, and finally told to leave by the pastor. It saddens me to think that person may not come to Christ because of the legalism of the church.
  12. Eternally Grateful

    Non-denominational Church

Actually it is the opposite. Instead of being all things to all people. The orthodox christianity is stagnant. Trying to force people to do things their way. I hate rap music, I do not even call it music, But it makes me cringe There are some that feel that way about the slower classic music...

Going to Jail is being punished for a crime, It would be likened to being chastened by God. I don;t know maybe you have not been chastened before? Let me tell you its no fun. But its not the same as getting kicked out of your family because you screwed up. You know for sure God will kick you...

Well see thats just it Paul said work out your salvation. Which means you have it not that you were trying to work to keep it. Paul always worried he would be unqualified to give the gospel because he did something that made people question him,, We all should be worried about that/ If we are...

"Salvation" is the gift of Eternal Life - it's FOREVER.

Everyone I know says they do. But when you hear them talk. They really do not They teach we should be afraid we can fall away. Now how can they claim to rely on Christ if they are relying on themselves to keep themselves from falling away
  18. Eternally Grateful

    Secure Eternal Salvation

the responsibility of the moral law is perfection. Moses made that requirment Paul re asirted that requirment and James proved it by claiming we can obey every word yet just stumble in one point and we are guilty You have not made perfection. thus you have failed to meet that requirment all...

lol. If you are this way, You have not understood the word. nor that fact you have been saved, and have been given eternal life. No one is resurrected yet. Yet this same paul said to be absent from the body was to be present with the lord. We should all press on. Not in order to save...
