    Once Saved Always Saved

You're in denial. The passage is talking about salvation, being cut from the vine. Matthew 7:21 & John 15:1-2 are both talking about Salvation. And both passages explain the pathway is not inaction through Christ.

    The Masculine Jesus

Typical. So difficult it is for women/feminists to make positive statements about masculine traits. It's so funny that the point needs to be clarified over and over again. Revealing it is that feminists elaborate endlessly and effortlessly about negative traits of masculinity, e.g., toxic...

    The Masculine Jesus

In the 2 x 2 matrix, this point you make is in the same quadrant as toxic masculinity. Just because <masculine> MEANS HE WILL/IS/HAS <positive traits> is the quadrant of this thread. Again, you are attempting to turn an actual <masculine> trait into a mere potential (can). The counter balance...

Discernment. Are you truly unable to differentiate between NOW and LATER? I know I do not have Covid (NOW) but maybe I’ll get it (LATER)?

Do you hear yourself? If you do not produce fruit, you will be cut from the vine. This means nothing to you!

    Once Saved Always Saved

I wonder what 'cut off' means? Jesus, the True Vine 15 “I am the true grapevine, and my Father is the gardener. 2 He cuts off every branch of mine that doesn’t produce fruit, and he prunes the branches that do bear fruit so they will produce even more. John 15:1-2

Oy vey. The lack of discernment is painful. "Both" ways includes the 2nd part of Matthew 7:21 that qualifies only those who actually act. Not sure what is confusing about this, beyond that it goes against your dogma. True Disciples “Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter...

Rapper DMX dies of alleged overdose; claims Jesus was his Savior

Then how is being perfect different from committing sin, in practice?

Rapper DMX dies of alleged overdose; claims Jesus was his Savior

I know this is an aside from the point of the thread, but I always believed Purgatory is that last chance to forsake sins in the otherwise faithful. For instance, my wife turned me onto reading the Bible. Bless her. Sadly, one of her biggest challenges is recognizing the limits of her...

    The Masculine Jesus

I'm not interested in '>' in this thread, only the masculine part. Notice that.

    The Masculine Jesus

It is totally your intent. Otherwise, your posts would not be so. There would be the slightest compassion for the plight of young men today, being told their essential nature is toxic and have to apologize to girls for being male. Lady, don't tell me what this thread is about! I'll tell you...

    The Masculine Jesus

It is. See the post on the 2 x 2 matrix. Post #86.

I’m not sure exactly what you are asking. Please clarify.

    The Masculine Jesus

Do you know the term chauvinist does not only apply to men? What about the man hating women and chauvinist females who DO write books or teach on a campus? Your posts show your willingness to give them a pass.

    The Masculine Jesus

Right. Never said it was exclusive. Just providing an opportunity for ‘equal time’ for the good things about masculinity and the toxic things about femininity.

    The Masculine Jesus

Not what this thread is about. This thread is about identifying masculine things Jesus did. It is started as a reaction to hate toward men in our society. Please stick to the subject of the thread or start your own thread.

    Once Saved Always Saved

It's funny you keep making this Appeal to Strawman. What do you think, A or B? A. Mindless slave describes best our relationship to Christ. B. Our relationship to Christ is best described as mutually loving but we mortals are the weak link, in constant need of turning from the flesh to the divine.

    Once Saved Always Saved

Tong is asking you because of his presumed superiority as an OSAS proselytizer. They brag about 'knowing' they are saved and want to egotistically compare to the frail NOSAS folks who are always afraid of losing salvation if they don't work hard enough - or so they suppose. It's disgusting. And...

Rapper DMX dies of alleged overdose; claims Jesus was his Savior

I think the problem with the Addy's of the world is they take things too personally. I simply put the OP poster on ignore. I had my exchanges with him, realized where he is at on the journey of life and realized he is likely to do me more harm than good. I believe there is a risk to all of...

    The Masculine Jesus

The point is there are no such phenomena in our society as men going around showcasing their hatred for women at college campi, presenting it as 'scientific research.' What is actually happening is women chauvinists going around college campuses railing against toxic masculinity. The book The...
