The major thread of the Bible is the Kingdom of God (KoG) gospel. We should never lose sight of it even when interpreting scripture. Most spiritual traffic of all scripture runs through this major KoG hub.

Scripture comparisons is a key step in interpretation.

This site covers the topic with some justice

“And so we have seen that the title ‘Christ’ is a very comprehensive one. That it includes the doctrine of the kingdom can also be seen by comparing the 5th and 12th verses of Acts viii, for while one verse tells us that Philip preached ‘Christ,’ the other explains it by saying that he preached ‘the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ. I have now proved that the apostles preached and the early Christians believed the gospel of the kingdom. And no man in his senses ought to dispute the self-evident assertion that we are required to believe the same gospel; for there is but one true gospel, one faith, and one hope, for all times, places, and people, from the apostolic age until now. Ephes. iv, 4-6; Jude 3.”

(Wiley Jones, The Gospel of the Kingdom, pp. 27-28)

I call upon the false preachers and teachers to repent and believe the gospel of the kingdom. Will they? Some have, but many haven’t and won’t.

Whether they do or not, I make the same appeal to everyone. Listen to Jesus and the apostles - all of them! - preaching the gospel of the kingdom.

The Messiah’s words - his teaching and his preaching - are spirit and life (John 6:63).

Listen to him preaching and teaching as if your life depends on it. It does.

Listen to the apostles preaching and teaching as if your life depends on it. It does. They were sent by him.

Welcome to the forum.

That statement resonates strongly with my spirit.

“When anyone hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what has been sown in his heart. This is the one on whom seed was sown on the side of the road.”

(Matthew 13:19)

“These are the ones who are beside the road where the word is sown; and when they hear, immediately Satan comes and takes away the word which has been sown in them.”

(Mark 4:15)

What does the devil say to that? He says, “Bah! Don’t listen to him. The gospel of the kingdom isn’t for you.”

And if you listen to the devil?

”Those beside the road are those who have heard ; then the devil comes and takes away the word from their heart, so they will not believe and be saved.”

(Luke 8:12)

It isn’t Jesus, nor is it any of the apostles, who don’t want all mankind to hear the gospel of the kingdom. It’s the false preachers and teachers. If you listen to them you have it from the mouth of the Messiah - you will not be saved.

Jesus came to give life, the life of the age to come. The devil and his cadre will do everything they can to get mankind not to listen to, believe and obey the preaching done by the Messiah and the apostles.

I don’t care what the false preachers and teachers say about me. I preach the gospel of the kingdom to anyone who will listen. That is what I was commissioned for and sent to do.

The devil always shows up when the gospel of the kingdom is preached. Always. This is the gospel message that he is desperate to defame and destroy.
