A new creation race being

If I were to sum up the Christian message for our time in a single statement, I would say that, with Paul, it is the message of the new creation race being.
We can read this in second Corinthians 5:17. Let me paraphrase: if anyone is in union with Christ, he is a new being , a whole new race of people: the old state of things has passed away, there is a new state of things.

Christianity is the message of this new race of people. It is the message of a whole new creation, an entirely new being, and a wonderful new reality.

This world was developed for human beings. God the Father ultimately brought this about through the appearance of Jesus of Nazareth. Because of this, the new creation is called a Christ-person or Christian. It is Christ the Messiah, the selected and anointed one, who brings about the new creation race of people and a new state of being.

Since all human beings have lived in the old state of things, the question is raised in second Corinthians whether we also participate in the new state of things. We have belonged to the old creation but the demand is made upon us by Christianity that we participate and understand our part in the new creation race.

What exactly is the new creation race being? Paul answers first by saying what it is not. It is neither circumcision nor uncircumcised.
For Paul and the readers of his Galatians letter, the new creation race being meant something very definite. It meant that neither being a Jew nor a pagan is ultimately important and that only one thing counts , namely, our Union with Christ, in whom is the new reality.
Circumcision or uncircumcision, what does that mean for us? It could mean something very definite, and at the same time something very universal.

It means that no religion (think of any and all religions) produces the new creation race being.
Only the Father can bring about this new creation race being and only a new state of being matters. That means Christianity is not a religion, it is a birthed person by God the father.

By His Spirit, His seed planted in us.

Your on to something, Christ being that seed, Gal. 3:16 "And to thy seed, which is Christ."
I referr to Christians as being who they are "by a birthing."

"Race" does not speak well to the Oneness of God, nor our oneness with Him, but rather of the peoples of the world and not of the kingdom.

I like the concept of even evolving to that higher plain. But "race" is just a bad choice of words. There is only One begotten of God, and if we are "in Him", we are not a race or group, but One.

<snip>

Perhaps you are basing your paraphrasing of 2 Cor 5:17 on the "traditional" English translation of the Greek word, καινὴ, kainē, which has the meaning of: -
Strong's Exhaustive Concordance: - G:2537

καινός, - kainos

new.

Of uncertain affinity; new (especially in freshness; while neos is properly so with respect to age -- new.

Sadly, you are applying the meaning of "brand new" to the Greek words, "καινὴ", also found in the following verses: - Mark 1:27, Luke 22:20, Acts 17:19, 1 Corinthians 11:25, Galatians 6:15, and "καινά", which is only found in this verse but is similar to "καινὰ", which is found in these verses: - Matthew 13:52, Revelation 21:5, whereas, the meaning in both cases for these two Greek words in this verse, should reflect, being refurbished like new again, where what was rotten and decaying has been made like new again.

As such I would suggest to you that your opening premise in the OP, does not agree with the context of what is being suggested in the Greek text.

There will not be a "Brand new" people/race but rather, God will "renew like new again" a people/race, who will receive His inheritance at the time of the final judgement.

The gist of what you are attempting to present, I would agree with, but because you have not delved deeper into the original text of the Greek, your explanation is invalid.

God does not invalidate any individual, but rather, He helps to refurbish an individual to be like new again, to be the person that God had originally intended us to be. As we press more and more into God and His heart for us, so we are healed to become the individual He intended us to be. We have to be intentional in our desire to be renewed like new again. We have a very important part to play in this renewal process.

Shalom
