What Google or Bing or Webster's Dictionary describes as Christian doesn't go into the details of Scripture. The KJV and probably most other Bible versions only use the word, Christian three times as follows:

Ac 11:26 And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch. Ac 26:28 Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian. 1pe 4:16 Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf. No real definition is shown in those three usages. Strong's does give us the word's meaning however: Cristianovß Christianos (khris-tee-an-os'); Word Origin: Greek, Noun Masculine, Strong #: 5546 Christian, a follower of Christ Is that then according to scripture?. Apparently according to Acts 11:26, a Christian is a disciple of Christ and what is a disciple? maqhthvß Mathetes (math-ay-tes'); Word Origin: Greek, Noun Masculine, Strong #: 3101 a learner, pupil, disciple Just a learner or a pupil... not necessarily mature or very knowledgeable... that is the Christian, the follower, the one who is perhaps seeking to follow Jesus the Christ more closely. Are we all doing that? I will leave amplification here to others...
