They are folks that claim to be saved without obeying Acts 2:38(being baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of their sins as Peter commanded the 3000 at Pentecost).

They bypass Acts 2:38 and spend their lives trying to keep others from obeying it....

38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

....which they loathe.

“ Loathe?” .... not hardly.....I would have LOVED it if I was a Jewish man in Peter’s audience that was listening to Peter preach that Message 2000 years ago.....AND I would have OBEYED Peter’s instructions to the letter! One ain’t gonna go wrong listening to Peter....

However.....once Paul came upon the scene, he carried with him a Message that came straight from Jesus....It was a Message Of Pure Grace , and so wonderful that it was called “ Good News” ......This Message revealed that by simply BELIEVING that Jesus died for your sins and rose from the dead, one could be Saved forever.....

There was NO MENTION of water baptism if you will notice.....Jesus Sure was Negligent to leave that so - called ESSENTIAL Element Of Salvation out when he sent Paul forth to proclaim the Gospel to get people Saved....Paul said once that the ONLY thing that he preached was “ Christ Crucified” .....he even went farther and said that he was “ NOT sent to Baptize”

How strange it was that he did NOT do what some here say is the only way to get Saved....
The Bible speaks of “ Obedience” ......it stresses the “ Obedience to the GOSPEL!”.... That Gospel is 1Cor 15:1-4 .....The Gospel is NOT Acts2:38.......That preaching of Peter was AS GOOD AS THE GOSPEL when Peter preached it.....but later , even “HE” came to agree with Paul that by simply BELIEVING, one could obtain that same Holy Spirit That He had Previously said could only be obtained by being baptized with water.....

Of course, the TRUE “ Acts Skippers” in here never finish reading the Book Of Acts where they could learn these things....Also, seeing how they are also “ Gospel Skippers” they never see what Peter was referring to when he said that everything that Paul Taught was “ The EQUAL” Of Scripture” ....Peter submitted to the Teaching Of Paul after he got Confronted and actually “ Condemned” by Paul at Antioch...The Bigger issue of the day was the Perverted teachings of the Judaizers trying to Add Law to Grace and Peter being a Hypocrite for refusing to eat with the Gentiles when the Jews fro Jerusalem came up to visit and spread their False and Perverted teachings..... But it was also shown there that Believers were getting the Holy Spirit WITHOUT undergoing water baptism....Paul preached that “ Belief” was enough and in the end Peter agreed with Paul......

God’s Plan got changed ......Jesus revealed it to Paul....Paul called it “ The Gospel” ( Good News) .....a Wise Man would NOT be a “ Last Part of Acts Skipper” , NOR Would they be a “ Good News Skipper” .....we must observe Obedience —— and The #1 Obedience for today is the “ Obedience to the Gospel” —— that would be 1Cor15:1-4 and NOT Acts2:38.....that is NOT a knock on Acts....it’s just the affirmation of A Change Of Plan....The Gospel That Paul Taught had been one of the Mysteries that God had kept secret for Millenia....A Mystery never revealed to Peter....A Mystery That Jesus never discussed in His Earthly Ministry....

You have weaved a subtle lie into that statement, claiming water baptism as the ONLY WAY to get saved. Nobody has made such a claim. This is what scriptures teach...

Their is no “ subtle lie” emanating from me....This is EXACTLY the Claim That your Buddy, the wet- haired Gospel Skipper has made...Ive used Scripture to show you that your Doctrine is false....that is all that I “ can” do.....I have tried to use you “False and Perverted” so- called teachers as “ Springboards” in order to get Paul’s Gospel That Saves out there for the Newbies in the crowd so that they will have some Ammo when they have to confront Blind Guides like YOU out there in the Real World....I have accomplished that Mission....now I should just “ shake the dust off of my shoes” and move on....hopefully, the majority of viewers here are not as Stiff- Necked as you guys and will not parade their Biblical Ignorance around as if their Ignorance were a Virtue ....
I only posted Acts 2:38.

You read it as a lie.

Is Acts 2:38 a lie?...

38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Ok......
But as I've said the HOLY GHOST BAPTISM in Acts at Pentecost is waaaaaaaaaay more important than water baptism.

I'll stake my___________ on It!
Can you say the same about WATER baptism ?
Okay, what is more important here?...

38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

...or, are they both EQUALLY important?

I mean, can you enter heaven without remission of your sins via obeying Acts 2:38?

I have noticed that Acts skippers will not quote Acts 2:38.

I dare any Acts skipper to quote it today.

That Gospel is 1Cor 15:1-4 .....The Gospel is NOT Acts2:38.......
Did you all see this???

He says Acts 2:38 is not the gospel, but the epistle to the saved saints of Rome is the gospel.

This is the definition of Acts skipping.

Acts 2:38 is BAD NEWS to the Acts skipper.

This entire post exclaims that Paul debunked Peter within a 10 year time span of Acts 2:38's inception as the plan of salvation to mankind.

This doctrine of debunking Peter comes right out of modern seminary.

The modern seminary is the official HQ of the protestant Acts Skippers Society, which was originally introduced by the RCC in 325ad.

The protestants just took abandoning Acts 2:38 to the next level via completely doing away with baptism altogether.

RCC...does away with immersion in the name of Jesus.

Protestants...does away with entire baptism command.

I only trust Peter(the lone man that Jesus gave the keys in Matt 16), not modern theologians that are trying to keep us from remission of sins as per....

You have weaved a subtle lie into that statement, claiming water baptism as the ONLY WAY to get saved. Nobody has made such a claim. This is what scriptures teach...

John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Mark 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not(unbelievers) shall be damned(unbelievers are not saved).

The term "Acts Skipper" comes from the fact many have skipped the book of Acts for SALVATION and went straight to the Epistles, which were written to the church and which were saved though the Book Of Acts.

Romans 1:7 To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 1:2 Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both their's and our's:

2 Corinthians 1:1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, unto the church of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints which are in all Achaia:

Galatians 1:2 And all the brethren which are with me, unto the churches of Galatia:

Ephesians 1:1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus:

To whom was Acts written? Luke-Acts is a two-part work written to a certain Theophilus. If your name isn't Theophilus, why are you commenting on somebody else's "mail".

Luke 1:3-4, " So it seemed good to me as well, because I have followed all things carefully from the beginning, to write an orderly account for you, most excellent Theophilus, so that you may know for certain the things you were taught."
Acts 1:1-2, " I wrote the former account, Theophilus, about all that Jesus began to do and teach until the day he was taken up to heaven, after he had given orders by the Holy Spirit to the apostles he had chosen.

Furthermore, if you're not in Galatia, Ephesus, Thessalonica, or any of the other places of the NT world, why are your reading their male?

For that matter, why are you reading any of the Bible, since none of it was written to those living today?

Your reasoning is absurd!

Everyone knows the Acts is the actions of the apostles, not a letter to saved saints.

It is a documentary to Theophilus as a historical account of what happened after Jesus ascended after the great commission.

It is intended as a history lesson, not salvation instruction to the saints of the churches that already obeyed Acts 2:38.

In it, we find sinners asking the universal question..."what must we do".

In it, we see documentation of the universal answer..."38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."

Which forever stands until the rapture of the church.

38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost....

16 (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)...

47 Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?

48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord...

4 Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.

5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.

This is the consistent theme of Acts, spanning 17 chapters.

Obey it, Acts skippers!

You can only enter heaven by accepting that the blood of Jesus redeemed your sin wage and only receive salvation through his name.

He said he is the LIFE the TRUTH and the WAY.

Jesus said also to the 11 to wait on the promise and then breathed on them the promise of the comforter to come. He did not say ANYTHING about H20 baptism but promised them the baptism of the Holy Ghost.

I live by Jesus's words, not Peter's unless the Spirit absolutely states " I AM SAYING TO YOU" in Peter's epistles.

I guess you're through losing to others and now are looking for a new opponent but I say to you the word rebuke you.
Read, study, and pray and He will grant you THE ANSWER

I trust Jesus when he gave Peter the keys to the kingdom to have us trust Peter to give us Acts 2:38 as the answer to "what shall we do".
