That's exactly what the scripture says.

II Thessalonians 2:4 "Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God."

What part of the above are you missing ?
It means he steps into the 3rd temple, in Jerusalem, stops their sacrifice, and claims to be God.

That has nothing to do with your interpretation of it, which is simply wrong.

Romans 12:5
So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.

1 Corinthians 12:13
For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

Galatians 3:27
For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
