Age for first ear piercings?

@Prim Well, maybe the poll does not really reveal a lot....

But I guess it can be said that if, rather than light clip-ons, the heavier, more elegant earrings are going to be worn, then in order that they stay on the ear the earlobes really do need to be pierced, right? and I guess the poll implies discussion of when that should ideally occur.

@Pearl Actually come to think of it, it's quite a nice idea, grandfather and maybe grandson having their ears studded at the same time...

It's never too later anyway to get first or extra ear piercings, I guess.
