What we are now in the midst of is that seeking, but only in our knowledge of it. In other words, we are now walking out what "was" as a witness of every hidden thing revealed--that man of sin. Which we do according to what was. There is however a caveat or exception given to us by God which is "as long as it is called today." Meaning we can change what was, even now. Such is the grace of God. Even so, it would be incorrect to refer to what was as what is--for the matter is of God and not of this world (wherein, if we limit God to these times--we quench the Spirit and limit our own access, leaving things to be fulfilled as written without change).
