God has given us a NT verse so that we can all not just Judge but KNOW who is going to Hell.

I have a Thread on this forum and others...... that literally explains....>"How to know... if YOU are going to Hell".

Its John 3:36.

Even with all of those bible quotes, *YOU* still don't know who's going to heaven or hell.

Only GOD knows our hearts. You're not God. Therefore, you don't know.

Lets find out who understands..what ISNT Salvation.

Here is a little story.

Its a nice Spring morning, and a Catholic Priest, in a Local Perish in Midville USA, has just finished laying out 2 sets of "baptismal" robes and 2 large white towels, right after He filled up the baptismal pool with water and then heated it with the flip of a switch.

He then steps outside, and looking around he sees a street-person, homeless, that he's seen many times.
The Priest gets his attention, and says.....>"Friend, do you want to go to Heaven when you die".
The street person is surprised by this question, but immediately says.....>"yes i do, father."
The Priest says......ok, come on inside the Church.

Its now 10 mins later and now both the Priest and the Homeless man are wearing the Church's supplied "baptimal robes"..

The Priest now leads the barefoot Homeless man into the warm baptimal waters and begins to lower the homeless man down into the water so that He is submerged.
And while lowering Him, the Priest says outloud, loudly, so that the man can hear...>>"i baptize you in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit".....and then he brings the homeless man back up, and then both go quietly to the dry towels and the fresh robes...

10 mins later the Priest walks the Homeless man to the door of the Chruch, and as the man is leaving the Priest says......Congratulations, you are now a Chrisitan, your sins are all forgiven, and you are going to Heaven.
-

A.) Reader, ..........if you believe that this Homeless man is now a Christian and will go to Heaven, then you are truly deceived by a Cult.
Yeah.....like it HAPPENS like that....

You have NOT idea. Your little 'scenario' isn't even CLOSE to the Catholic faith....

My beliefs are that there are seven general congregations. In which, Christ, desiring an early judgement... Took issues with...

Messianic - Started by the Apostle Peter
Martyr - Started by the Apostle Paul - There would be 10 general Roman persecutions
Orthodox - Started by Constantine - In which he moved to Constantinople.
Catholic - I don't believe the Catholic Church was actually organized until Pope Saint Gregory I around 600 AD
Protestant - Sardis - Gem - Elegant yet rigid. Started by Martin Luther.
Methodist - Philadelphia - I would put the beginnings of this church with the non-conformist, John Bunyan
Charismatic - Laodicea - Rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing?

I believe the Catholic church a Christian church... But... They will have much non-Catholic company with them in heaven!
Who then... Is saved?

Seven candlesticks - Seven generalized congregation - All unique one to another
Seven seals - Those names written in the Lambs Book of Life
Seven stars - Those messengers to the congregations

Well... That is God's business!

And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon. - Revelation 5:4

You have no idea WHO is in hell.....
Who cares, they are gone and made their choice to deny Christ. It's only important to know that I will be with Jesus, not anyone else. I may not know who is going to Heaven or Hell, but I know I will be in Heaven. You can too. Jesus is the way.

Post a verse from a Bible that says...that anyone in Acts 2, (Pentecost) was told that Peter was given the "keys to the Kingdom"., ect, ect.
I'm not certain why you are asking me this question. Nevertheless, searching for a specific verse to back a particular stance can often lead to the development of misleading teachings. A notable instance of this is the argument that positions Peter as superior to the other apostles, which is frequently based on Matthew 16:19. In this passage, Jesus grants Peter the "keys of the kingdom of heaven," but interpreting this verse in isolation can result in a misunderstanding of Peter's role within the broader context of apostolic leadership and unity. Such isolated interpretations contribute to a skewed perception of authority within the early church, potentially leading to doctrine that contradicts the collaborative nature of the apostolic mission as described throughout the New Testament.

Do you know what the keys represent?

No one can become a "Christian" until the basis for becoming a Christian, is provided. @Origen

That Basis is a blood sacrifice that God provides for the forgiveness of Sin, as the NEW Covenant that is the BLOOD OF JESUS shed as the "blood atonement".

So, in your verses, and in your cult ........both teach that Salvation is based on WATER, when it fact, Salvation Hung on The Cross, or NO SALVATION is Offered.

JESUS Is Salvation.........not Water.

So, you are teaching Salvation by water....and works., and that is a False Gospel.

Result? Your Salvation theology, has no JESUS on The Cross in it, so that makes you and your cult.

Galatians 1:8

Jesus gave the the authority in His name to baptize and forgive sins of those who repent:

"Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit"

"If you forgive anyone’s sins, they have been forgiven them. If you retain anyone’s sins, they have been retained.”

When people went to them, or go to their successors, for baptism and confession, they were and are baptized and forgiven of theirs sins by priests on behalf of the one Who was given authority by the Father and passed on the authority to them: Jesus.

Do you know WHY Jesus gave the apostles and their successors the authority to forgive and retain sins?

No one at Pentecost needed to be told Peter had the keys, because he was already using them.

Here’s the verse spoken by Jesus before Pentecost:
“I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven...”
Matthew 16:19

Jesus gave the keys to Peter there, and Peter used them in Acts 2 by preaching the first Gospel message under the New Covenant, resulting in 3,000 salvations.

Then again in Acts 10, he used them to open the door to the Gentiles (Cornelius’ house) — fulfilling the prophetic structure: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile (Romans 1:16).

The fact that no one in the crowd said, “Hey Peter, who gave you authority?” — actually confirms his role. The Spirit fell. The Word convicted. The people responded. The keys were in action.

So no, Acts 2 doesn’t explain the keys — it demonstrates them.

Ony Jesus can forgive sins. Only through His saving Grace, can salvation come to one is called according to His purpose. No human being on earth can forgive sins. When I baptize in the name of the Father, son, and Holy Ghost, it is the person who I baptize that has accepted Jesus as their savior prior to the baptism. The baptism does not forgive sins, the immersion in water symbolizes the Identification of the believer with Jesus Christ's death and resurrection, publicly.

The Keys represent the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which is the figurative key to Heaven.
