They aren't to me!
Whether they are to someone else may well depend on how many, or how strongly one holds to "traditions of "man/men."
1 Peter 2:5 (KJV)
5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house [Bethel=House Of God/beth Aven=house of Nothing], an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
This "Holy Priesthood" now? Is this just a "thousand year" Priesthood with Christ during the mellinia? Or even something "shorter termed" like during this "brief pause" in Eternity that is known "generally speaking" as "life on earth?
Or is it and/or does it indicate more then that?
One should (peradventure) take "The Order Of Melchizedek." Was this merely a "decree" from some guy named Melchizedek?
Or was this "fellowship or brotherhood, are gathering" of Priests of "The MOST High God" counseled by Melchizedek to establish (in government) "an/this" forever Priesthood?
Guess it's all up to the reader to interpret it however they may?
Or, allow someone else to tell you how it should be interpreted.
Eh?
