Why? Mainly because there are those who sincerely believe that the Lord is going to return secretly to "catch up the church" , while those who were not ready, will have to go through a 7 year Tribulation. During that time, they believe people still can be saved. It's called The Pre-Tribulation Rapture theory.
My question to you was for to know whether or not you believe that way.

Jesus came as the Son of man, Left as the Son of man, Returns as the Son of man.
Look, Division has been occuring since the beginning of Gods Creation. Every man during his own generation has OPPORTUNITY to STAND WITH or STAND AGAINST God.
And IN THE DAYS the Lord has APPOINTED AS the LAST DAYS to accomplish DIVISION "AND" SEPARATION requires one TO follow the ORDER and APPLY to himself, that WHICH DOES APPLY to him, ACCORDING TO GODS Separation, as revealed in Scripture.
Dude, I do not make your decisions FOR YOU, nor am I obligated to LEARN SCRIPTURE "FOR YOU" because "you" "wonder" WHAT APPLIES to WHO at any given point in whoever's physical life.
My advice would be....Decide your own standing....READ, LEARN, STUDY, what will be the outcome of YOUR Decision....If you are content with the outcome....Make your own Commitment, and TRUST the outcome that THEN Applies to you, SHALL come into Fruition.

So, when Jesus is revealed in the clouds, after not seeing Him for 2000 years, that's not the rapture of the church? Isn't that WHERE we shall rise to meet Him? Is that not when He is revealed in flaming fire, and EVERY eye (the saved and the unsaved) shall see Him?

Every person who I'd " born again of His Holy Spirit", IS READY!!
Rom. 8;9 "Whosoever HATH NOT the Spirit of God/Christ, is NONE of His!
So, if you do have His Holy Spirit, then you ARE ONE of His, and therefore are " made to be ready", "SEALED (preserved, saved) unto the Day of redemption" .
2Cor.1
- [22] Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.
- [13] In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
