1Cor11:1. “Follow me as I follow Christ”......I don't think Paul pulled that out of his hat.....Jesus told him to say that , just like he did with everything else that he penned in his letters....

Best way to win converts is to put on a big show, and ask for a whole lot of money.
There's a mega-church near where my sister lives, and it is a 'huge'... building with tall ceilings, like a cathedral. They have Country & Western stars that put on a show on Sunday's, and everyone is guaranteed a good time. But not much Bible is actually taught (my sister says, who has attended).
Did you know that God prophesied of this kind of day, a famine for hearing The Word of God, looking everywhere for it and not finding it?

One cannot claim... to believe in "many gods" and actually be a Christian.
According to Christian Doctrine per The New Testament, there is only ONE God The Father, God The Son, and God The Holy Spirit, and these 3 are ONE.
If you believe in any... other god, then that makes you a PAGAN.
Thus what you are in reality doing by your false claim, is trying to justify PAGANISM.
Are you a member of an occult fraternity, or an Indian reservation organization? They believe in other gods, and even promote them.
