Spare us the nonsense.
So the eunuch and Philip were reading from the wrong translation.
Better exhume 'em and tell 'em.
Eunuch a man that has been castrated????
What translation do you think Philip was reading from?

Your post 653 saysI do not have Jewish beliefs....LOL
Just the truths of the scriptures and the Old Testament is all about Jewish beliefs.
Salvation in the Old Testament? Not true. The Scriptures Covenantee and me presented that you rejected nail that lie. Your fight is with the inspired pages.
Your post 653 says
Jewish Beliefs
So those aren't Jewish beliefs?
What beliefs are they?![]()
He actually has no rebuttals. All he has is his opinions. Page after page of him promoting what he has been taught by the Dispensensationalists.Acts 13
27 For they that dwell at Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they knew him not, nor yet the voices of the prophets which are read every sabbath day, they have fulfilled them in condemning him.
So much for your "Jewish beliefs".![]()
Of course.LOL LOL LOL
That is from the Jewish Virtual Library. LOL
You didn't know that?Eunuch a man that has been castrated????

Of course.
They're your Jewish beliefs from the Jewish Virtual Library.
You quoted them, so they're your beliefs.I did not write the Jewish Virtual Library.
You want another Jewish source?
The prophets were fixated with Christ (thee hope of Israel), redemption (deliverance from sin), His majestic kingdom (a spiritual edifice) and eternal glory (being delivered from every enemy - natural and spiritual). Messiah's appearance was the ongoing perpetual hope for every true Israelite (believing Israel).I did not say they got it right....talking about what is written and what they believed.
Philip was preaching Jesus to a non-person?It is not a person.
The prophets were fixated with Christ

Messiah's appearance was the ongoing perpetual hope for every true Israelite (believing Israel).
It was the Pharisees that were fixated with the land. They wanted to lord over the nations in a show of racial superiority. They were captivated with the natural physical earthly visible whereas the elect were captivated with the supernatural, spiritual, heavenly, and invisible.
Jesus said in Matthew 5:17:
17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
Matthew 26:55-56 record:
55 In that same hour said Jesus to the multitudes, Are ye come out as against a thief with swords and staves for to take me? I sat daily with you teaching in the temple, and ye laid no hold on me.
56 But all this was done, that the scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled. Then all the disciples forsook him, and fled.
Luke 18:31
31 Then he took unto him the twelve, and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of man shall be accomplished.
This is called supporting Scripture with Scripture. You need to see that the Old Testament prophets were fixated with the coming Messiah and His kingdom. He came and fulfilled countless prophesies 2000 years ago. Premils tend to sometimes overlook or dismiss them, without being objective.
In Luke 24:24-27 Christ joined two disheartened disciples on the Emmaus road: “And certain of them which were with us went to the sepulchre, and found it even so as the women had said: but him they saw not. Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken: Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory? And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.”
He continues in Luke 24:44-49: “These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me. Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And ye are witnesses of these things. And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.”
John 1:45: “Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.”
Jesus said in John 3:10 “Art thou a teacher of Israel, and knowest not these things?”
Acts 3:22-24: “For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you. And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people. Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days.”
Acts 10:42-43: “And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead. To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.”
Acts 13:26-27: “Men and brethren, children of the stock of Abraham, and whosoever among you feareth God, to you is the word of this salvation sent. For they that dwell at Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they knew him not, nor yet the voices of the prophets which are read every sabbath day, they have fulfilled them in condemning him.”
Acts 15:13-16: “James answered, saying, Men and brethren, hearken unto me: Simeon hath declared how God at the first did visit the Gentiles, to take out of them a people for his name. And to this agree the words of the prophets; as it is written, After this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up.”
Acts 26:22-23: “Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come: That Christ should suffer, and that he should be the first that should rise from the dead, and should shew light unto the people, and to the Gentiles.”
Acts 28:23-24: “And when they had appointed him a day, there came many to him into his lodging; to whom he expounded and testified the kingdom of God, persuading them concerning Jesus, both out of the law of Moses, and out of the prophets, from morning till evening. And some believed the things which were spoken, and some believed not.”
Romans 3:21-22: “But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference.”
Romans 16:25-26: “Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith.”
1 Peter 1:9-11 tells us: “Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls. Of which salvation the prophets have inquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you: Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.”
Show us just one example from a recognized defender of historical orthodox Christianity before 1800 CE, claiming that "there was no salvation in the Old Testament".@covenantee @WPM
You guys have a lot to learn about the Old Testament and what the Jews believed and do believe.
You are trying to Christianize the Old Testament and bring false elect Israel into Christianity.
The fact that there was no salvation in the Old Testament is general knowledge.
Read the passages that I posted that expose your claims. They saw His death/sufferings. Read the text! You seem incapable of addressing and expounding Scripture. That is because it refutes what you have been taught. Sad! This is getting old.Yes they were. But they certainly were not forecasting the Jews killing Him.
The Messiah comes and three years later He dies.....They did not want that or see it coming.
Each of those texts demolish your error. That is why you duck around them. The Book is your greatest enemy here. That is why you reject its content.Just posting a bunch of scriptures does not prove your point.....it has to address what you are trying to preach.
If he who posts the most scriptures wins.....I can post the Bible in here.
