I've had 3 separate blood clot symptoms recently. This comes 2.5 years after the vaccine. But the doctor raised the point that blood clots are a rare symptom of one of the meds I have to take for my mental illness. I did get some dizziness from the vaccine and so did my father.

The question I have is can the vaccine cause blood clots and if you believe this then what is the general biological cause of blood clots from the vaccine? I would need to know how it can cause blood clots. Simply stating it does, does not prove anything without a mechanism to cause such things.

Thanks in advance.

The adenovirus vaccines (such as the Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine) can cause a (very very) few people to make antibodies against one of the many molecules that make up our blood clotting system. This causes the blood platelets to malfunction, which results in both blood clots and abnormal bleeding.

This seems an unlikely explanation 2.5 years after the vaccine - if you were going to get a clotting problem from the vaccine, you would have had symptoms much earlier. Of course there are many other agents that can cause this unusual immune response - and many many other causes of blood clotting. One shouldn't jump to conclusions.

I found this article that spells out that blood clots are a symptom of COVID infection and a rare symptom of COVID vaccine. So it would appear that you run a significantly higher risk of blood clots after having COVID than from the vaccine.

Blood Clotting, COVID-19 and Vaccines From the article: "Blood clotting is a well-recognized complication of SARS-CoV-2 infection. It has also been identified as an extremely rare side effect of certain COVID-19 vaccines. The risk with vaccines is exceedingly low and individuals are at a significantly higher risk of developing a blood clot from COVID-19 infection than following COVID-19 vaccination."

Also from the article: "Data from the beginning of the pandemic indicated that the incidence of blood clots in COVID-19 illness ranged anywhere from 5 to 40 percent, varying with individual risk factors and severity of illness."

Thanks for the update. Yes I don't want to jump to conclusions, just want to investigate the blood clotting claim. My white blood cell count was high for 2.5 months recently. And while I've never had COVID symptoms other than feeling run down for a while, I'm now suspicious that I had it and didn't know, which can raise the possibility of blood clotting. See post #3 please. In fact the blood clotting symptoms started happening the same time my white blood cell count was elevated. Wow, I'm a little concerned now.

From a separate article: Blood clot risk remains elevated nearly a year after COVID-19

"Researchers found that the first week after a COVID-19 diagnosis, the risk of an arterial blood clot – the kind that could cause a heart attack or ischemic stroke by blocking blood flow to the heart or brain – was nearly 22 times higher than in someone without COVID-19."

Be well @devin553344

I have had blood clots since 2010 was diagnosed with PE
bi-laterally and was on Warfarin for about 5 yrs.

Bad drug... Stayed off for about three yrs. I felt the same symptoms after having them before and sure enough they were just in my groin. This time was prescribed Eliquis BID and was told by my cardiologist it would be a lifetime med.

If my name gets called, I'm just a walking punch away from seeing Jesus!

PTL !♥️

For some reason doctors and many members of the general public will fight you tooth and nail to deny the vaccines do any harm. It has become this dementedly partisan issue for them and for some reason they identify as some sort of "pro-pharma" team.

My close friend started having gasping fits and couldn't exercise after taking the vaccine. Many of his friends told him, it is just a panic attack. He went to doctors and they told him, it is panic attacks. He vehemently stated, its not because of panic attacks because he has no anxiety issues, except when his heart starts racing and he can't breathe, because when that happens it is implicitly frightening. He eventually got a referral to see a heart specialist after seeing multiple doctors, and they found heart valve damage. Official cause: an utter mystery.

Sorry to hear that Keturah. I hope you'll be OK.

The last one was in my groin so I immediatly though kidney stone travelling down the tubes. But I didn't pass anything out. And with my other two symptoms, one in my calf and then chest pain breathing in I realized "hey that might be a blood clot". They all resolved on their own. I've been checked for blood clot when the calve and chest pain hit. But nothing so far. I will need to explain it to a doctor and get checked out. I'll do that soon.

My sister has an inflamed heart valve they found shortly after her last booster shot. Now I don't want to jump to conclusions, but she has had 3 booster shots. Both my Father and I warned her against getting boosters, but the assisted living facility she is at automatically follows this fear based protocol. They all had COVID and got locked in their rooms for 3 months. hmmx1:

I hope you do well.

Last year I had Covid naturally, not jabbed with the gene therapy needle “vaccine”.

I don’t have any side effects from it thus far.

I know someone who now has high blood pressure and is taking medication for it after getting jabbed a couple times…

Be wise, don’t believe the lies.

I got the two initial injections, but the Lord instructed me not to get any boosters. So I haven't. I must have had COVID and didn't even notice it. But like I said, I had a high white blood cell count for 2.5 months which is strange. So I'm guessing that I had it and didn't know.

Maybe. But remember that people have always suffered these kinds of problems, long before Covid or Covid vaccines came along. There are hundreds of possible causes of a high white blood cell count (any infection, or inflammation anywhere in the body), and a lot of them can cause clotting problems as well.

I've had four boosters now, and so far no problems at all.

In the past, medics spent literally years rigorously testing new drugs for vaccination against all sorts of diseases, then only released them to the public if they were found to be safe, but Covid vaxes were rushed into production and released as a panic measure, so i'm not surprised they might cause some side effects.
PS- I've never been covid vaxed, I was thinking of having it done a couple of years ago but then caught covid and recovered, so hopefully I don't need the vax now anyway.

I don't want to scaremonger but here are some interesting news reports-

My Mom was a nurse who scored 87% in her class. She was very against the COVID vax. Because they ignored standard protocol for vaccines when they made it. She warned me against it. But my sisters house would not let them leave except with fully vaccinated individuals. I take her to see my Dad often. So I guess I was stuck. But I also got the feeling that I needed the vaccine so I got it anyways. I also have cystic fibrosis (a-typical) and it was wise for me to take the risk to be vaccinated.

Also there are a number of different Covid strains and variants each requiring a different vax, and on top of that there are 'booster jabs', which means there's a lot of the stuff sloshing around people's systems.

The Holy Spirit told me to let the shot passed by me. Meaning don't take it. A Christian should have the discernment to know when something isn't right, when you see 100's of doctors warning against it only to be silenced and politician's calling them misinformation.

Does anyone else notice that the word "jab" is suddenly being used everywhere and by everyone? At least in my country, I have never once heard a vaccine referred to as a "jab", it was always an "injection" or a "vaccine". Even when I was a little kid in elementary school, that was the language we used. Calling it a "jab" reeks of social engineering. Like some think tank had a focus group come up with the least-threatening term for it, and the word they picked is now being pressed through every media outlet into peoples' heads. It is a symbol of the level of control the powers that be have over the public's thoughts and language. "Oh its just a little jab what is to be worried about". They are injecting biological chemicals into your body.

Well, there is a case by case basis that the Holy Spirit might guide each of us differently. I was instructed by God to get the vaccination but not boosters. And the Holy Spirit might do that if you are one of the people that would be adversly affected by the vaccine. God might also have had me get it because I have cystic fibrosis.

Anyway I'm too old to bother about getting a jab at my age (74) so am putting myself in God's hands, "thy will be done"..:)
