Since a lot of people on this forum don't believe there's a hell, many of you will probably reject testimonies given by people who claim to have been in hell and came back.

And people have also written books about being in heaven and coming back.

So, what is the general idea about these books?
Did you read any of them?

The mind is capable of phenomena that defies logic. I can attest to this from personal experience.
Where ever people think they go and come back is an element of this phenomena.
Nobody goes to heaven or hell and comes back. This is a delusion or an outright lie.

I believe that they believe what they "saw and heard".
I have done the very same....twice...

But I have always believed it is a place in the Spirit...and the experience something spiritual, but our senses tell us we "went" met people..walked, talked etc.
But no different than a dream...it is just us in our dream experience. We were not really interacting or 'anywhere' but right here.

I do believe that heaven is like that to ..a spiritual place, a different realm.

I have even read on this site...even a week or so ago...two posts talking as if we went far enough into space we would land in heaven and it is "up there".

For me...the UP is a higher plane...a higher realm....not millions and billions of miles ....

I have never read any books about ether places, I have heard testimonies from people about Heaven, you will even see them on talk shows, All I can say about these people, is they are liar's, out for the cash, and or they truly had an experience that changed there Life! The few that I have seen on talk show's tend to talk about their experience more than about the God of Heaven!
And If they went there did God instruct them to tell anyone about it! This bring's us back to the rich man asking God to send some one to warn his Family, so they do not end up where he is????

On the other hand I am aware of at least two people who came to Christ after they heard one of these testimonies.

So, that's at least two good things that came out of it.

First thing with a lot of people is that the money comes to mind all the time.

I disagree with that because I did read some of it written by people who certainly did not need money.

Sad to say, even those who have billions of $$$ almost always want more -- not because they need it, but simply because they want it. Even so, the wealthiest man in the world must still sit on his own backside, pick his own nose &, in due time, die his own death -- no amount of $$$ can purchase a discharge from that war.
