what do you guys think of the many religious books that were written (many mentioned in the bible), that were not included in the biblical canon?
were they devinely inspired? who gave king james the authority to decide which books were?
who gave king james the authority to decide which books were?
where is it written that god gave king james the athority? what makes you think that?
if those other books are not inspired, then why are they revered in the bible?
Do some research and find out.
i did my research, i have read dozens of the books and i believe that they are just as devine as the biblical books.
as far as king james goes, i see nothing that gives him any more than god has given me, and not even close to what god gave the biblical prophets. i take their word over his.
What must ask the question," what gives man the right to deny a book that is quoted from by Jesus Himself".?. The books where left out for the simple reason it would probably undo the power ( authority)of the "church" if they had being included. Jesus never gave His authority to the chuch, He gave it to those He chose, but it was Usurped. and as you can see, on the outside it tries to be like Him, but it does a terrible Job.
In His Love
You know, these arguments against the Bible really are absurd. You wouldn't know of Christ otherwise!
Either you believe that he did come in the volume of the book or otherwise it's a make-it-up-as-you-go religion just like all the others out there.
Since when exactly does the word come mean origin? That's one heck of a strange conclusion to draw. Just curious.
I'm sorry you have an issue with me quoting Scripture found in both the "New" and "Old" Testaments.
Look, what you are referring to are some Books that were around at the time of Christ. Some were Jewish hymn books and others were will read story books every Jew was familiar with. The reason these were not included, is because the Jews do not include them or consider them inspired any more then wonderful literature today is inspired. You can certainly read them, but there is not much in the way of “doctrine” and they are not inconsistent with the Old Testament.what do you guys think of the many religious books that were written (many mentioned in the bible), that were not included in the biblical canon?

King James did not make the selection or really any Christian group.
many of these agnostic books were part of the early christion church and its canon (a couple 100 years after christ,s death) many are referenced in today's bible. they were taught and reverered until kinng james took them out.
that makes king james more religiously reverered than the earlier clergy. history does not refect that he was. if so, please direct.
