Thank for the interesting question.
The Babar and Winnie-the-Pooh books
We also Loved reading to our children and grandchildren. They (and we) enjoyed authors like Beatrix Potter, Dr. Seuss, Richard Scary, Beverly Cleary, Tolkien. The best Children’s books reinforce parental instruction in Love Your Neighbor.
Blessings.
I loved both of them growing up :)Is it weird to still be reading children's books?
I liked reading Dr. Sesuss as a kid. I liked the Lorax. Something about the Lorax story made me think.
I also read the Bernstein Bears as a kid. Yes, it was called stein and not stain.
I loved the Little House books. And when my children were small, I would gather them around in the evening and read them from the Elsie Dinsmore books by Martha Finley. That series is amazing. Each chapter starts with a scripture and it promotes Christian character. What are some books you loved growing up?
See spot run..... lol, j/k .....had to throw that in! Haha! What are some books you loved growing up?
Yes, it was the book of Winnie the Pooh, not the film/movie, that I meant in my post. I liked the book you mention, too.![]()
The book version, not the movie.
Those are some I liked as well. :)When I was really young I liked the Beatrix Potter books. My mom would take me to the library and I can remember looking at them to check out.
