St George's Day - or rather the day before - saw what was supposed to be a peaceful march through the streets of Brighton, England. The march was organised by the non-political March For England group, and basically consisted of cheerful people waving the flag of England.
Sadly the marchers were attacked by hundreds of vicious thugs, and several videos exist of this on Youtube. Just search for "March for England Brighton".
A lot of these video clips were obviously posted by the thugs of by their friends. The marchers are often described as fascists, even though they are non-political, and their attackers are often described as anti-fascists. Personally I don't see anything remotely "anti-fascist" in attacking peaceful marchers.
Most of Britain's chuch leaders condone this kind of mob rule, usually either by not mentioning it, or by making derogatory remarks about the victims of these vicious hate mobs. Anyone know why?
