God said you would die Ron (sorry I do not know your preferred version so these are from the KJV):
Ge 2:17tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

Like you satan said: Ge 3:4serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

I think we agree that the Bible is God's word. It defines what death is:

Ps 146:4breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.

Ec 9:5 For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.
Ec 9:6 Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun.
Ec 9:10hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.

You have stated multiple times that I do not believe the Bible, may I ask, do you?

I would like to say as well, you have a nice looking family sir.

By other discussions, we agree that death does not end it all, we both realize that there will be a resurrection Jn 5:28,29

But you reject man has a soul and spirit as the bible clearly teaches (though not in the OLD testament the Watchtower loves to quote to defennd their wrong understanding.

BTW IN Genesis God said, on the day you eat of it, in dying you shall die. That is how th eHebrew fully plays out in English. But tehy did die that die, spiritually.

    Just like Paul said in Ephesians;

    Ephesians 2
    King James Version

    2 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;

2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,

5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

That is not in the future tense but present! So we were dead spiritually and made alive again!

Best not to tell me my teachings sir, I know my faith. If you have a question about my faith or a Bible teaching feel free to ask, that is what we are here for.

Well sir, I know these teachings as well. I had a watchtower library that rivalled many kingdom halls.

They use the Greek and Hebrew when they think it advantageous, then refuse to look when it destroys their false teaching. I know how this works in the Watchtower Society.

Three times today you have pointed out how well we are educated through the faithful slave, and I fully agree. God told us we would be Micah 4:2. Would you expect anything less of Him sir? We find that all His words come true, and for those which not as of yet, we have no doubt they will. Since the last days began, and the faithful slave was appointed, we have been fed spiritually like no other, I definitely give you that sir, but we seldom mention it. We do believe that we should boast on Jehovah, but keep in mind, that our knowledge was not from us, but was a provision from Him as He said it would be, boasting on that, or the earthly means through how He provides it, would be very haughty, and like you are trying to do, elevating men, as if it was their own ideas.

What I expect of God is not found anywhere in the Watchtower bible and Tract Society, sir! And the Watchtower imitating the Roman church and calling themselves Israel for the purpose of Micah 4:2 Just shows they cannot even steal doctrine correctly from Christendom!

Jesus said that he would appoint a faithful servant over his sheep in the last days Ron at Mat 24:45-47. They would feed the sheep according to the passage. May I ask if you believe we are in that time period sir?

Yes, but for none of the reasons why the Watchtower says we are. but what the bible says we are.
but let me ask you a question sir. As the Watchtower was conceived by the International Bible Students in the latter 1800's based on the teachings of Origen and Arius, do you believe God abandoned the church for over 1800 years???

If the Watchtower used the KJV and RSV for decades, and even promoted selling them and giving them as gifts, why did they feel teh need to rewite th eBible and come up with the NWMT ?

No sir not at all, the Bible shows the path of God's people. What is the significance of 2 Thes 2:3 and Isa 2:2,3? If you do not understand the significance, perhaps including 1 Jn 2:18, 19 might help.

Yes the bible does show the path for Gods people. It is just a tragedy you are not allowed to let it light your path without Watchtower control.

Here are quotes from the organization you adhere to concerning the word of God.

"Bible classes and and Bible studies are all to no purpose until the Lord, in due time , sent them the 'Bible keys' through the society" wt10/01/1909 p448

"If the six volumes of SCRIPTURE STUDIES are practically the bible topically arranged, with Bible proof texts given we might not improperly name the volumes- the Bible in an arranged form. That is to say ,they are not merely comments on the Bible , but they are practically the Bible itself...." wt9/15/1910p4685.

"A person would go into darkness after two years of reading the Bible alone; would be in the light reading the studies in the scriptures alone" wt9/15/1910.p4685

"Heavy research is not necessary. The Watchtower has done it for you.The most beneficial study you can do is to read the Watchtower or Awake! or a new book by the organisation." wt6/01/67 p338

"The Bible is a sealed book except to the organisation"Wt7/01/73p402

"Jehovah caused the Bible to be written in such a way that you need his human channel to understand it"WT 2/15/1981p.17

"Unless we are in touch with this channel of communication that god is using, we will not progress along the road to life, no matter how much Bible study we do."WT 12/01/81p 27.

"An individual must have The Watchtower to understand the Bible" 1983 yearbook p.21

"Our coming to know "the truth"- the entire body of Christian teachings that HAS BECOME PART OF THE BIBLE - and adhering to it are essential for our salvation." 15/12/2009 p.28,study edition. they are saying that watchtowers, awakes and their books are now part of the bible!

    Luke 11:33-35
    King James Version

33 No man, when he hath lighted a candle, putteth it in a secret place, neither under a bushel, but on a candlestick, that they which come in may see the light.

34 The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness.

35 Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness.

    Psalm 119:105
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

GODS WORD PROVES THE WATCHTOWER IS IN APOSTATE ERROR. YOU STILL HAVE TIME TO CHOOSE AND BE SET FREE.

Great, I am glad you recognize that sir, now, take that Bible, and identify His people Ron. We may be getting somewhere now. Don't write a book, but lets examine one passage at a time to identify the faith.

    This ought to be fun

    give it your best shot!

But I did not say I recognized these things as truth! In reality I was reporting what eh watchtower wrote over time and eclared that they are th e path to enlightenment and salvation and once cannot be saved apart from them.

They borrowed these from teh RCC. Why should I accept the Watchtower as the one true church when I left the one true church as the RCC called itself?

Bot have horribly reinterpreted SCripture to promulgate their own false doctrines.

    Fantastic.

You used John 1:1 as a beginner. Your version stated that the Word is God, the NWT says the Word is a god. Your version translated Acts 28:6 to read a god, the NWT reads a god. Since these verses are identical in Greek, why do you suppose the translators of the verse did not consistently translate it.
I openly state however, the a is added, as it simply should be rendered god. Without a definite article proceeding it, then it would be rendered in small case. Notice the proper way the verse previously capitalized the words:

    I am so very sorry sir, I can't post it the way it looks but the link is: John 1:1 Interlinear: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God;

The last Theos was not preceded by the definite article. Therefore the translators did not translate it accurately, and inconsistently with Acts 28:6. I believe this was done deliberately to promote the Deity of Jesus

The rejection is by believers. The non-acceptance is by unbelievers.

How many believers reject the deeper implications of the gospel? How many refuse obedience and conformity to God's ways?

How many deny the truth? This is all too common. I think it is unwise to read about religious people of the past and think we are not guilty of the very same things. What's the point of reading the bible when a person only takes the good theoretical parts for himself and rejects all the realistic parts as applying for others?

A good example of this is in thinking the church of Laodicea is NOT the present state of the church. It is the church of the end times. are we not closer to the end times than any other church has ever been? Then can we take the bible seriously enough to consider our own spiritual state before God? THEN the bible will have helped us to salvation. Until then, master manipulators have convinced most modern believers to ignore all the warnings of the bible.

Who is wise in our generation?

The Logos is the word YHVH...The Lord God of Israel. The Father is the Most High (Elyon) or the singular Yah.

Elohim is plural (dual)...both Father and Son. Mayim (water) is plural (dual) both bitter and sweet. Ephraim is plural meaning double fruit. Mahanaim means 2 camps. Chayim is life (dual) both temporal and eternal.

To miss the logic here is to miss the meaning of the bible.

YOur ignorance of Greek grammar is only outdone by your ignorance of the word of God! You think the Watchtower trfanslators did it right? Whoo-Hoo, I have land to sell you 10 miles south of the Florida keys!

Also if you translated correctly the greek you posted you would know that part b of the verse is supposed to read: "And the Word was with the god (tonis the definite article) and the Word was God.

Now you need to learn the difference between the predicate nominative and subject noun.

If you had an inkling of Greek grammar instread of simply vomiting out what teh puppet masters of the watchtower tell you, you would know why an indefinite article should not be supplied and why a definite article is not warranted either!

You are parroting the Bible but without understanding. In what capacity was Jesus with the Father...was He a PR man? or...as it says in the bible that Jesus was the Creator and without Him nothing was created. But you will not be able to take your mind and heart that far from its pre-conceived track.
Jesus is greater than Moses as the builder is greater than the house. This is an understatement that many will miss. Everything concerning Jesus in the Bible is an understatement.

Jesus is the Lord God. Only the Father is greater than Him. Jesus is the God of Israel. The Father is the God of all flesh. But now Jesus has taken on the role of Lord of all creation...still under the Father of course.

People miss the greatness of Jesus because they are bound up in the text of the Bible without any revelation at all.

Jesus came from the Father...like a glass of water from a greater sea. Jesus is a life-giving Spirit shared with the Father as One Holy Spirit. Anything less than that misses the depth of who Jesus is.
