Yes.

All who have given God their faith in Christ are born again by the Holy Spirit.......... and that is not water baptism.
Thanks for acknowledging the Person and role of the Spirit of God. I'm sure He appreciates this as does Those Who sent Him.
Paul says we are to "study to show ourselves approved to God" by studying the "word of God".

That is the BIBLE........not commentaries, and not Youtube videos, and not " only what my church teaches".
Study the scriptures and all the words that proceed from the mouth of God. Most importantly, ask the Spirit to open the eyes of your understanding to see truths hidden in them and for His divine life to respond to what He reveals.

And let's not forget Trump was part of the problem during the scamdemic as He agreed to the arrangement where big pharma was to provide the fake vaxx and NOT be legally liable.

Trump really screwed the American people on the scamdemic and even now will not hold anybody accountable

Here's the first thing that should have come to mind for Christians that know the Lord and walk with Him according to His Word when the scamdemic started...

Psalm 1:1
Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

Following the counsel of the ungodly... is being led by the devil

When the scamdemic first hit the news i tried to tell the Brethren, but most placed their trust in the "men in white coats".

Thank you for the encouragment

The Holy Spirit will lead you to study the word of God, as Paul directs all Christians to do, as He was directed to tell us by the Holy Spirit.
Yes, the Holy Spirit downloaded the word of God into me a few years ago. It was a vision of the future which has changed my life. I study that vision each day and the Spirit keeps adding to it, or should I say, grows it like a seed growing into a mature tree with new shoots, leaves, flowers and fruit. It is truly awesome. [Greek word - spoudazō - use speed, that is, to make effort, be prompt or earnest: - do (give) diligence, be diligent (forward), endeavour, labour, study] so whatever revelations the Spirit leads me into I do this.

If you want to spoudazō what the Spirit revealed 2000 to 4000 years ago, go right ahead. But for us who have been receiving the progressive word of God out of His mouth through His Spirit since then, I hope you don't discourage us but rather like Paul did with Timothy, you will encourage us to be diligent with this word of God.

God can sometimes give a direct answer. Even so, he does this sparingly because his will for us is that we learn wisdom and put that wisdom to practice.
You are speaking of your personal experience. Thanks for sharing.

Many have a different one. We hear God communicate with us regularly. Through dreams, visions, picture stories (parables), inner voice, audibly, in nature and many other ways.

Revelation is the completes all the words of God = "It is written"

The Holy Spirit is our Guide to teach/instruct us in "It is written".

The Holy Spirit does speak to us but HE will never speak contrary to "It is written".

Can you elaborate on this. I'm not following what your saying here.
The Holy Spirit is our Guide to teach/instruct us in "It is written".
Yes, for sure. But obviously God's Words in written form are not all He guides, teaches, instructs us out of.
The Holy Spirit does speak to us
How does the Holy Ghost speak to you?

You dismissed my point too quickly. I also know from personal experience, as a parent, not to give my boys the answers right away. I encourage them to think for themselves and try to find the answer by themselves first. The effort and work is beneficial and I would never rob them of that. God wouldn't either.

That belief please the devil as it's an open door for him to bring in false doctrine.

The demons appreciate the support!

All false beliefs come from man when he/she decides that there is more truth then what is contained in God's words and that God is speaking to them beyond "It is written".

some examples are joseph smith/mormons and whoever started jw

i am sure you know of a long list of names/beliefs

I think it's comical (not in a good way) when some guy pops up with some new doctrine claiming the early church and the Apostles were all wrong and the guy claims only he has the correct doctrine... and people actually fall for it, seeing it does not agree with what Jesus and His Apostle teach in God's Word.

The bottom line here is God's Word is the Handbook for Salvation and Life, and the Holy Sp[irit of Jesus Christ is THE Teacher. thumbsup2.gif

Any "teachers" that come along teaching in opposition to what the Lord and His Apostles teach in in His Word, that's how we know they are agents of the devil because they devil is always in opposition to the Lord which is why the Lord called him satan which means adversary

All false beliefs come from man when he/she decides that there is more truth then what is contained in God's words and that God is speaking to them beyond "It is written".

What causes false theology, that leads to false doctrine and eventually turns into a new cult ?

1.) Someone who is not actually born again becomes obsessed with the bible, and becomes very religious but lost......and creates a theology that sounds spiritual, and sells it as truth.

This very forum, has one of those on it.. who teaches that "The Cross is not about forgiveness". And their personal salvation testimony, has nothing to do with the Cross of Christ, or Faith in Jesus, or their sin being forgiven.....nothing., nothing, nothing.

And usually this type of deceiver FAKES some type of mystical sounding speech, or they say they received their theology from an angel or similar voice or vision... ect, ect.
So, many people are fooled by this type of "dark" speech, so, they become a follower, or disciple.

2.) False theology is created by people who do not "rightly divided the word".. (Paul's verse).......so, they just get in there and try to make it all fit together when it doesn't.......and what they end up with is "wrongly divided" false theology.

How do you avoid them, and how do you avoid becoming one of those.

Its very simple.

Learn Paul's Gospel, and Learn Paul's Theology......and stay there for life.

Paul gave to the "body of Christ" "The Church"..... the Doctrine for the Church, after Jesus personally gave it all to Paul, after Jesus was resurrected and back in Heaven.

So, when you learn Paul's teaching.. his "doctrine"...then you've become what Hebrews 13:9 says that you have to do with your heart, or a "doctrine of devils" is going to capture your mind and deceive you.... Reader.

Learn Paul's Gospel, and Learn Paul's Theology......and stay there for life.

Some people claim we should bow down and worship Paul.... light some incense and do some necromancy and see if you can contact Paul to see if he'll put in a good work with the Lord for ya!

The doctrine for the Church begins in Genesis, continues thru the prophets up to John the Baptist.
The Gospel and commandments of our Lord Jesus Christ and the teachings of His Apostles is the FINAL Say on all matters for His Church.

@Dan Clarkston responded to your post about "worshipping the Apostle Paul" so i went back and read more carefully your post.

There is an element to what Dan said, so make sure you do as stated with Hebrews 13:9 and make sure your thinking is
upon "every word that proceeds from the Mouth of God."
Always remember that it is the Holy Spirit that empowers and guides us into all Truth - IF - we listen to the Truth

Are you saying 'God's word' and 'it is written' are exactly the same thing?

Maybe when you use these terms it is different to how others interpret them to mean.

If you have borrowed these 2 terms from someone else, can you give your interpretation of them.

If they are your original terms, can to elaborate and explain them to us.

When you say, handbook, are you refering to an actual book? Or are you speaking figuratively? Is God's words spoken (every word that proceeds from His mouth) and communicated to His creation a book?

In all this post I hear a lot of references to a mere man, a self confessed greatest of sinners, like Hitler, a murderer of God's people, yet no mention of the most important, influential Person, without Whom there is no church. The Holy Spirit of God. But this seems to be very common in this forum.

I ask you this. Why do you worship the demons. You keep giving them glory for what God does, be it through His people or others.

I'm glad Moses was open to hearing God speak to him through a burning bush. And others hearing God speak out of clouds, and others hearing God speaking through angels, in dreams, visions and the list goes on.

The sources and means God uses to communicate with us are many. The scriptures is but 1 of them.
