Wow, don't know what to say. I have tried to be as clear as I can. I shall not be getting back to you on this or I don't think any other matter. I have met many a would be 'Holy Ghost Juniors' over the years. I prefer the real one........Perhaps concern yourself more with getting your own walk with Him into a much more intimate place...Love letters are one thing, having time with your beloved, that is a whole other thing all together... Actually, yes He very often does.. Not saying exactly a direct phone line, but close... This is a wise person who had been a Catholic, but came out of 'her', to be found in Christ. A much much better place...You should try it....

Since Baptist preachers don't believe in Transubstantiation and do not have a valid Catholic ordination your scenario makes no sense. Yes, only Catholic priests and bishops can do that.

I am glad you agree with me and scripture. He only answers the prayers of those who BELIEVE what he preached. Only a person with proper ordination can perform the act of transubsantiaion. Therefor my scenario DOES make sense.

No I was dead first, then He rescued me from that nothingness, a light grew and He stepped out of it, or He became out of it, I don't know how He got into a locked house, closed room and didn't use the window either. I had of course heard some speak of Jesus, and in primary school we did have one year of learning a little about both the old and new testament, which I had never paid any attention to and all of my family were basically atheists, the subject was total TABOO in our family.
Anyhow I won't go through the entire time with Him that night, so I will skip to the end. It had started somewhere between 11.30pm and midnight, didn't have a clock in the room, and it was just about to be dawn, when He stood up, faced me and said :" I think you can rest now.", with which I agreed. Then He smiled and said these last words, which I will never forget ( actually I won't forget any of that night, ever ) :" Remember! I am always here, whether you can see Me or not.", and when He said the words " or not " He disappeared from my sight but His voice was still audible from the same location.
It took me 6 1/2 years to find a couple of people, who helped me to take more advantage in my life, of what I had experienced. they introduced me to the Bible, fellowship and most importantly to me, the receiving of the Holy spirit. boy did things take off, once I had received that beautiful gift and promise, of which I had known nothing. 99% of what took place that night with Him, was Him answering all of my questions, of which there were many, because of the state of the world.
What I believe about your spiritual life is irrelevant, it can only EVER be important to you! So, all I am saying is, if you are going to be guided by a spirit, make very very sure He is the right one....He, Love, always recognizes His own, and The Holy Spirit within a person should do leaps of joy inside of you, upon hearing any and all Truth from The Lord .
I am so very grateful to Him for all He did/does, and I am grateful that I didn't have a religious background, so I can always just speak from my heart, instead of just quoting the few things written about Him in a book. He is SOOOO much more than that, and He will give you such an adventure, if you're up for it...
Marymog......I have tried to tell you a couple of times, that you must follow your own heart, and I MUST follow the One who gives it all to me. I am not sure why you will not do that? I wish you all the best :)

Their are Christians that follow their heart and believe that abortion is OK. They base that belief on the same scripture you and I read.

Are you ok with them following their heart and aborting those babies?

Yes I was talking about 'mjrhealth' and yes, he had been raised a catholic and during one of those services, he was apprehended by the Lord, given a revelation ( and has had many since. ), which made him come out of the system of religion ( and this would apply to all institutionalized religions ) and found himself in Christ, instead of in church. He has a wonderful testimony. I have known him approx 15 years, and when he or I talk of revelation, that is something The Lord always confirms, so we each know truth when it comes through the Spirit. It's impossible to get it wrong, if or when Jesus is standing right in front of you, telling you something, but it is a little more tricky when it comes by that small still voice.
Hope we at least got that clarified. Are you expecting what I post to you to be from sarcasm or unkindness? In case you did, I can tell you that it really isn't so.

A long journey for sure, and no, of course it's not finished yet. I learn new things from Him on a regular basis ( because I push in and ask ) and am growing little by little, like a little tree, all the time.
Whether I am for or against people who abort babies, really won't make any difference what so ever, to those going through that, and since I am not going through that, and therefore not responsible for it, I really shouldn't be shouting about it. I pray for people, then leave them in the capable hands of the Lord, because if He can't reach them, then what hope would I have ?
I think we Christians concern ourselves far too much with what others are doing, I think we should concentrate on our own walk with the Lord, and then perhaps, just perhaps one day, we will be able to be there for a person, and be able to be a real help in a moment of need.

I'm questioning how faith enters into your walk with God, since many Christians do not ever see a physical Jesus. Many of us must walk by faith, not by sight (or appearance) without ever seeing the object of our faith:God.

Can you explain how you can have, or need, Biblical faith to be a Christian?

Hello there. I actually didn't get a notification of this message so sorry. I saw the heading and decided to have a look....
Yes, I am aware that I am worshiping a REAL Jesus, but you got me wrong, I could NEVER be infallible, but I accept that He IS, so when He does tell me something, I accept it fully as truth, and many many Christians over the past 3 decades have all been excited to show me, where in the Bible I could find what Jesus was talking about, even if by then it didn't matter that much to me. Can you tell me anything I have posted which does not agree with the Christian Bible ?
How does faith enter into my walk ? You are kidding , right ? I don't SEE Jesus each and every time I wish to, He reveals Himself as He wishes, I have seen Him on a few occasions, but have had 8 lengthy encounters with Him over a 3 decade period, and I have heard His voice more......But, because He said to me the first time we met :" Remember, I am always here whether you can see Me or not." and I have taken His word for that all this time, so that I can be AWARE of Him at all time, if I was to so wish and or do.....This is where faith comes in a lot.....I mess up all the time and realize I have to quickly run back to Him, but have had many times where I have felt embarrassed or like I have let Him down, and even if I pout for a while, He is STILL always there, when I choose to face Him again.....So, I can also attest to His faithfulness !
I will not tell anyone anything as Truth, unless I have heard it from Him, or seen Him tell me with my own eyes, or if received via The Holy Spirit, I wait for confirmation.
Does that answer your questions? :) Also last of all, Jesus said :" Blessed are they who have believed and NEVER seen." So I don't know why He allowed me to experience Him that way, I expect it was the only way for Him to convince me, and that is not the best place to start from, but I'll take it. I will take what He wants to give anytime, anywhere...

Sorry a quick PS..... I also have to exercise my faith each and every time I pray for others... I have seen the Lord do some absolutely mind blowing stuff over the decades, and not just by myself . By the way I was 30 years old when He got to me, and had been raised in an atheist family.
