26 For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;
This verse posted yesterday and needs a closer look. We talk alot in Christianity about "who we are" or "knowing who you are." If you have ever wondered about that saying here it is written to you. This is who you are by Christ in you. Why do we say you must know who you are? Because it is the knower that keeps you going or takes you on in the Lord. Understanding is the greatest gift given to a believer. Knowing break's up soul and spirit or divides. When you see someone who is up one day and down the next - they simply have not learned who they are yet.
What gets people down? Always trying to do what is right and they fail. They get down on themselves and have a hard time moving into the deep things of God because of understanding or lack of. A knower knows the difference, that is all it is. They are not special, they don't have a different calling, they are not smarter, they just simply know something. Knowing is understanding and understanding is peace. They know failing is in man to do by their soul, and completeness is by Christ in them.
Religion is easy to spot because they have no dividing up of soul and spirit. Religion will go as far as reinterpreting scripture so it fits their doctrine of not dividing. They have to do it if it is going to fit the short coming of man, they have no explanation for what scripture says about man failing. Their theology is just repent always (no life). Our better religion's will charge a little fee to get that done. It don't cost much - just your soul that's not to much to ask is it, never knowing anything stay dumbed down to the things of God.
Man made religion has always exsisted and always will. If something exsisted it is because the Lord allows it and uses it. If He does not want something around in the world - the schoolhouse it will not exsist. But why would he use such a devastating thing to further humanity (religion being the greatest evil heaped on mankind)? If man gets enough junk in this world - just maybe they will seek truth. If they ever get tired of all the hoopla that comes from man they may just turn to the Lord (sad thing is there are born again in religion). That is how He uses all things for the good of all - it takes a turning point in a life.
Have ever been there or watched as the pressure of life or the schoolhouse work on a individual through the situations and circumstances they go through. Most go through it over and over again trying to get it fixed in them - to who they are. I have had mine and most do - none are exempt. I still do things and just slap my head thinking here we go again you still haven't learned. But what I have learned is; to be honest with the Lord about your short comings because you are a fallible human being and you always will be. What makes me infallible is Christ in me (joined unto the lord spirit).
That is the treasure you have in your earthen vessel. Praise His name!
