If you're not willing to understand the cultural context, Matthias, then you have no basis to interpret the text in ways that clearly weren’t relevant or present in the time it was written!

At this point, this is the only explanation for your misrepresentation of the Word. You’re so caught up in mythology that you're twisting the truth and turning it into a lie, forcing a narrative of angelic warfare where none actually exists. Madness!

It wasn’t human nature, nor was it a disease, that the disciples weren’t able to drive out of the boy and Jesus did.

Mute, violent seizures, foaming at the mouth, rigidity, and grinding teeth, could be understood as a description of what might be epilepsy in modern medical terms
Consistent diagnosis!
So you believe diagnosable illnesses relate to your make-believe supernatural creature and not from the flesh?

Honestly, don’t you find it odd that Matthias would take a passage that so clearly describes a medical condition, one that was completely undiagnosable in that time and attribute it to the evil influence of a fallen angel? I mean, come on!
Here’s the real issue, if he’s getting this wrong, what else has he misinterpreted for his own benefit?

@talons Today, patients with symptoms similar to those described as demon possession in the New Testament often respond to chemotherapy. This is significant because if the condition were truly caused by demon possession, as some claim, how can we explain their recovery through medical treatment? Can medication really cast out demons?

No , not at all . But I have a story .
One night after an encounter on a forum online with a person that left me wondering if they were a person or a demon . I was sitting in my usual spot outside in the darkness to start my prayer time . I had been there a minute of two when I heard this awful wet snarl over my shoulder , it did not sound like any animal I have ever heard . But there was no fear on my part because in the middle or right before the snarl the Holy Spirit said " That is demonic ." There was absolutely no normal fight or flight response or the hair standing up on the back of my neck . The demon could not touch me but they were NOT happy . Remember this verse .

It's interesting that Matthias admits there’s no origin story for his creature. Given how much hinges on this topic, it must be unsettling for him to have no solid Scriptural foundation to support his beliefs.
