Christian Joy

Joy should be apart of the Christian's journey. Even though we have to face our share of struggles, we can still find joy in Jesus Christ.Please see the attachment.

I can think of several moments of joy. When the Lord disciplines us, at first we think it hurts, but he disciplines his sons, so this is a good thing, and we reap the fruit of righteousness. Also, when we encounter trials, this is also a joy, because trials eventually lead to endurance, and thus we will lack for nothing. When we are denounced, we are to rejoice and leap for joy, because the prophets were treated this way. (I’m really bad at following this verse, though).There is also that the fruit of the Spirit is joy and peace and self-control, etc. And how can we not be joyous that God has made all things, and that he cares for us, so we dwell secure? He is our God, and we are his people.
