But this is a straw man based on a false exegesis of scripture. No one is saying we don’t fight back, because Christians are to fight back. How we do so is largely based on context. But the primary method we’ve been given is relying on God through prayer:

Eph 6:10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.
Eph 6:11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.
Eph 6:12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
Eph 6:13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.
Eph 6:14 Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,
Eph 6:15 and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace.
Eph 6:16 In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one;
Eph 6:17 and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God,
Eph 6:18 praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints,

That is what you and a few others continually ignore, preferring your interpretations driven by fear and a lack of trust in God.

I thank God for the men & women (whether Christian or non Christian) in the police & military who are willing to do whatever it takes to allow us to be safe in our homes. They are the ministers of God (Romans 13:4).

It says s lot when someone claims to believe in Jesus but refused to believe he meant what he said.

I wonder if it is reasonable to infer from these words from Jesus Matthew 6:33
Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.

That "everything" could include the blessings of a society that is safe for his followers? It's too bad that Jesus just died a few months ago and we are forced to:

1. theoretically speculate,
2. only have OT accounts of God's people forging their own nations and
3. don't have thousands of years of precedent of Christian nations expanding and prospering more than any other in human history where God's Providence and blessings are overwhelmingly seen in every aspect of the soulful, fleshy, worldly, carnal life in these God given bodies, huh?

Maybe total pacifism, vulnerable to every evil and detachment from practical living, sabbathing 7-days per week is the life Christ meant for us when he said John 10:10 I came so that they may have life, and may have it abundantly? Yea, that's it!
