Confusing dilemma

Well, this person was born normally as a man, no extra bits. And they said its a “feeling” that they arent who they were meant to be. Personally i dont get it, could it be a mental health issue?? Im sure in this case it is.

well, what i meant was if a male has surgery to become a female, their DNA still shows as male plus the actual hormone difference/body differences other than genitalia still exist. In other words, im a guy, and if you put a dress and wig on me, would my voice automatically change? Would i grow hips, and no longer have a male brow line? Gender is more than genitalia.

You are this persons friend. Remain their true friend.

To be consistent in living and where possible to talk about the gospel. That they are transsexul is irrelevent, that they need your care and love and to be saved is relevent.

Hello all, its been a while. So i have a question about a dear friend of 20 yrs of mine. This person doesnt know im asking this, and although it may sound bad, first thing’s first, i do not believe this person is saved.

i have worried about this person greatly the last couple of years, and im wondering if they have any hope. This person had a “selective” surgery which cannot be reversed. The problem from my viewpoint, is that since this surgery cannot be reversed, is repentance even possible for this surgery?

This person has no intentions of doing this, but im really confused about God’s purpose in this situation. I believe everything happens for a reason, either God wanted it to happen, or He merely allowed it to take place. And since God is good, for Him to have allowed my friend to have this surgery, something will come from this that benefits His glory. But i cant figure out what it could be. This surgery has allowed my friend to start a life living in sin. Is it possible that my friend could be one of the “vessels of wrath” mentioned in Romans 9:22?

I don't think the surgery will make repentance impossible. However, the person needs to discontinue the immoral sexual activity. If this person repents, I think they will be okay.

If they were sorry enough to repent (stop a specific sin for good, ask forgiveness and God's help in putting that sin away for good), then it would not mean damnation.

The big problem is, “she” married a guy and it would mean completely changing her life. Thats something i dont think she’ll even consider. There has been no signs of repentance.

Right. The thing is, for people damaged by the sex change procedures, they may not be able to 'stop' sinning if the sin is being what they were made into. All they could do is get their heart right, and repent.

In post number 6, I mentioned a woman having lesbian sex with a transexual woman using her brand-new genitalia. (I'm not making this up; one of the women involved is a good friend of my wife.) Are they committing an abomination? That would assume the trans lady really does have a female soul. But if the lady has a man's soul, it's just casual fornication. Okay, what if they fixed that by getting married? (They won't; they broke up last year, but that's beside the point.) But then it's okay, right?

Ah, Romans 1:28. My wife's friend acknowledges God. She and my wife have discussed this many times around our kitchen table. But she can't help being what she is. The ἀδόκιμος (literally "unfit", translated "reprobate") mind. The gift that keeps on giving. She is what she is. We were all given unfit minds at birth. Your unfit mind and mine manifest the power of Sin in different modes than theirs. Our symptoms may be slightly different, but the disease is the same. Father chooses to heal some. Oh, I don't know about that. Lesbians get a free pass in Leviticus 20:13 and 1 Corinthians 6:9. Men are always harsher on gay men than they are on lesbians.
