Pre-Great-Tribulation is depicted in Revelation 14:14-16, showing Jesus descended to a cloud, reaping ("catching up") believers over the "land" (Middle East).

This is prophesied in 1Thessalonians 4:16-17:
"For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the arch angel's call, and with the sound of the trumpet of God." (v. 16)

"Trumpet of God" is the "last trumpet," i.e. the last of the seven trumpets of the coronation of Jesus (Revelation 11:15-18).

"Coronation" stems from Latin corona = crown. Jesus is celebrated as King of the *land* (i.e. Middle East, Philippians 2:9-11). There was no concept of planet earth at that time.

"Great tribulation" is the bowl judgments, described poetically as hot oil poured from a bowel (ancient method of torture).

That harvest in rev14:14 has Jewish firstfruits .
144,000 Jewish ethnic elect, from the 12 tribes.

Jesus is the firstfruits of the church, so the church does not have ethnic Jews as firstfruits.
