When the ”devil and the demons aren’t real” advocates own that they are their own devils and have driven themselves out of their Edens, accept it. When they try to drag you down with them, reject it.
Can be said of everyone

Jeremiah 17:9 “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it?”

Who can know it Matthias?

Notice who it is, readers, that the Christadelphians align themselves with.

It isn’t Christians that they align with on this matter; it’s non-Christians they align with.

Two prominent examples of that are presented in this thread: Mr. Wilde and Mr. Goethe.

The Christadelphians aren’t hiding the fact from us.

I doubt people are paying much attention anymore, Matthias—and many are probably wishing you hadn’t started all these threads in the first place. But you did, and now your weak position has been laid bare for everyone to see.

People would have noticed how you wanted to move away from Genesis 3:1 with Trevor - that was transparent of your weakness.

HIS weak position? I pretty much see him mopping the floor with your destroyed arguments...LOL

Far too many questions have been left unanswered, and instead of offering any real substance, he resorts to posting memes. Your absence hasn't gone unnoticed either.

Why argue with someone who has rejected the truth in such a manifest way? Paul have us instructions concerning such cases:

Tit 3:9-10 But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain. A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;

Not for his sake, Shepherd, but for all those who are still undecided. Nothing will change Matthias’ mind, not even his own conscience when he realises his position is flawed. He’ll just move on to the next misquoted or misrepresented passage. But it’s important for people to see this as an example of what not to become. His rejection is clear, others not so.

Christians, in the ongoing spiritual war being waged by the Christadelphians (aided by people like Mr. Wilde and Mr. Goethe) against Christianity over the real existence of the devil and demons, I strongly advise siding with Christianity. Do what you think best.

The hypocrisy! as the saying goes you threw the first punch, and now I'm cleaning up your theological mess.

Identifying the adversary is where it's at!

Romans 2:12-16
12 For as many as have sinned without the Torah shall also perish without the Torah, and as many as sinned in the Torah shall be judged by the Torah.
13 For not the hearers of the Torah are righteous in the sight of Elohim, but the doers of the Torah shall be declared right.
14 For when the nations, which do not have the Torah, do by nature what is in the Torah, although not having the Torah, they are a torah unto themselves:
15 who show the work of the Torah written in their hearts, their conscience jointly testifying, and between one another their thoughts either accusing or even excusing them,
16 in the day when Elohim shall judge the secrets of men by way of Χ̅Ρ Ι̅Η, according to my Gospel [Luke 19:11-28].

Their immediate judge (the enlightened conscience) can inform them of what their ultimate Judge will say about their actions, giving them an opportunity for self-correction before it is too late.

Rev 12:10 is your example.

The reference is to paganism (1 Pet. 5:8), which as the political "devil" or false accuser, had cast many Christians "into prison" (Rev 2:10). This had been done "in the sight of God" (as the words should be rendered), but partial relief was received with the elevation of Constantine.

My relief will come at the return of my Lord.

You appear to have missed the Accuser in the highlighted statement.

I've been contending with him for the past 6 weeks!

Context: A believing Gentile is more "righteous" than a natural Israelite because the former absorbs into his conscience the things which he hears, whereas the Israelite has paid no heed.

How could this context apply today?

The reality @dak is verse 16

I urge all who seek understanding to reflect on this sobering truth: a day is appointed when God will judge the hidden things of every heart through Jesus Christ, justifying the righteous and condemning the wicked.

This reality brings strength to those faithfully walking in Christ and serves as a warning to any who resist the truth, slander it, or falsely accuse those who stand for it.

Woe to those who misrepresent His Word and teach lies as truth.

I've been contending with him for the past 6 weeks!

Imo it is unwise and against Apostolic teaching to call a human being a satan, a devil, or a demon, which are unclean things.

Acts 10:27-29 ASV
27 And as he talked with him, [Cornelius] he went in, and findeth many come together:
28 and he said unto them, Ye yourselves know how it is an unlawful thing [Sanhedrin law] for a man that is a Jew to join himself or come unto one of another nation; and yet unto me hath God showed that I should not call any man common or unclean:
29 wherefore also I came without gainsaying, when I was sent for. I ask therefore with what intent ye sent for me.

Context: A believing Gentile is more "righteous" than a natural Israelite because the former absorbs into his conscience the things which he hears, whereas the Israelite has paid no heed.

How could this context apply today?

The statement attributes to the context something that is not there, that is, a bias against "the Israelite" as a whole. There were many of the Yhudim and of Yisrael who believed in the Gospel accounts and the early first century despite the rejection of the Meshiah by the rulers of the people.

From the same passage as above:

Acts 10:34-35 ASV
34 And Peter opened his mouth and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:
35 but in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is acceptable to him.

Also from the passage I quoted previously above in Reply#193

Romans 2:8-11 ASV
8 but unto them that are factious, and obey not the truth, but obey unrighteousness, shall be wrath and indignation,
9 tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that worketh evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Greek;
10 but glory and honor and peace to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek:
11 for there is no respect of persons with God.

Also Romans 1:16.

Romans 1:16 ASV
16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Only someone unfamiliar with the meaning and proper use of these terms could make such a statement. It's also possible that the person holds incorrect beliefs on the subject, which may be influencing their reasoning.

You examine your motives, I'll examine mine, and let the Lord be the one to judge between us
