Since the loss of his love and now his child has been removed from his care, he has turned to using potent street drugs. We thought we were making progress to talk him into Detox, but it didn't work out. Most of the time he can't function cause he is so out of it. I can only surmise that he isn't ready to give it up yet, or maybe it's just easier for him to hide from the reality of what has happened? He's an adult, we can't force him, but watching him is a very hard thing to do? The most we can do is to pray that God hasn't given up on him and is working on him to get through to him, and to keep encouraging him to get help.

God please help him. He is your son too. Bring him back to You and to us, Amen

Sorry to hear about your son, drug addiction is a struggle. Focus and encouragement to remind him of Jesus and God love for him is important. Praying and reading Bible.

Dear God, please bring back another one who is stuck in the muck and mire of drugs. Lord, You know why He is using the drugs, Yes, Lord, He is addicted and in pain to escape the pain. Lord, please show Him how to deal with it and please give him love and grace and if there is pride, please break the proud heart to make him humble so he is able to call out for help on Your Name. We pray in Jesus' name. Amen.
