That seems oddly selective considering that in a number of those categories the OT and/or the NT speaks about both of the things being contrasted what what is being contrasted isn't always the same thing. For example, #2 isn't contrasting the same thing and both the OT and the NT refer to God as our creator and redeemer. Likewise, #3 is not contrasting the same thing and the OT refers to majestic God and our Father.
I believe this pictures here are what comes from Jesus and his victory, we have God, Yahavah, becoming our Father through adoption. I’m not sure I hear Father pertaining to God in the Old Testament. It was only until when Jesus was sent, being the Word made flesh. We find out we are to call out to the Father, in Yeshuas name. That seems oddly selective considering that in a number of those categories the OT and/or the NT speaks about both of the things being contrasted what what is being contrasted isn't always the same thing. You said that it was under Jesus was sent that we found out that we are to call out to the Father in his name. While Jesus taught to do the Father's will, he was far from the only one who did that, and he did not change the way to do His will. For example, Jesus was virtually in complete agreement with Hillel, the grandfather of Paul's rabbi.Yahweh, and Yahwehs Word
Just sharing something to consider, you do not have to accept anything said here as the truth. You should seek truth out for oneself and hold on to the truth that sets you free Yahavah, is the Father. The Word of God, was spoken by the Father. For whatever reason the Father (Yahavah/Yahweh)...www.christianityboard.com
Jesus was not an innovator. What’s that mean? Did I express anything like that? In my origins to post?
I don’t believe anyone did the Fathers will as perfectly as Jesus. He fulfilled the law and prophets. While Jesus taught to do the Father's will, he was far from the only one who did that, and he did not change the way to do His will.
Don’t know. For example, Jesus was virtually in complete agreement with Hillel, the grandfather of Paul's rabbi.
