7:45 some research 7:52 I've done in the last week or so congruent with another group I belong 7:57 to. There are about 50 to 60 million 50 to 60 million dispensationalists in 8:05 this country. We call them fundamentalists and their 8:10 interpretation of the Russ is that they are the soldiers of the antichrist 8:17 and we discount these people at our peril. These people have captured a lot 8:22 of the more important parts of our Congress, some of the executive 8:28 branch and a couple of people on the Supreme Court in my the considered view. 8:35 Um, and Opus Day, for example, I think sees great interest. They don't 8:40 necessarily agree religiously with these people. They have a different interpretation of the end times and the 8:47 rapture and all the rest of that garbage. Um, but they are allied with 8:52 them just as Trump is exploiting them and people around Trump like Steven Miller and others are deeply exploiting 8:59 them. They are an integral part of their political power. And when you try to 9:05 explain why a lot of Americans seem to have a vivid distaste for even a hatred 9:11 for Russians, I think you have to poke into that a little bit and see where it 9:16 comes from. I wouldn't be surprised, for example, that some of Graham's ire 9:21 doesn't come from that. I know Ted Cruz's ire comes from that because as we know from the interview with Tucker 9:27 Carlson, Ted Cruz bases his security policy decisions on the Old Testament. 9:33 And that's really what we're talking about. Yeah. This demonization of 9:38 Russia goes back probably 900 years or more. 9:44 Yeah. Vladimir Putin pointed this out and I think he was 9:49 absolutely correct that the papal envoy went to Russia to try to persuade the 9:58 ruler Ivan that we know as Ivan the Terrible, to persuade Ivan to become, uh join the 10:06 Catholic faith and he refused. He said we are Orthodox Christians. Now the 10:15 biggest difference between Orthodox Christianity and Catholicism is, 10:22 Catholicism is like a rigid pyramid. Got a pope at the top. It's got this 10:27 entire structure below it. It's very much a hierarchical authoritarian 10:32 system. The irony is that the Orthodox Christian church is nothing of the sort. 10:39 they will acknowledge certain people as having great power as a spiritual leader but 10:48 they don't, they're not a hierarchy at all. they're actually much more democratic so that may 10:56 even play a part into this and again just the fact that you've got this Schofield Bible nonsense 11:04 that will portray Russia as the antichrist when if compared to countries, if you did 11:12 a survey of countries in the world, which countries have the most professing Christians 11:19 attending religious services. Russia would be in the top 11:26 that surpassed the United States. And so, but yeah, we got to hate them because they're against God. And then 11:33 you step back and say, which country in the world has spent more time killing 11:39 people in other countries over the last 30 years uh in violation of the commandment, thou 11:46 shalt not kill. Oh, that’s us, the United States. So yes, this entire 11:52 propaganda thing it’s just completely turned around to convince Americans 11:58 of an evil where they refuse to look in the mirror and see it in themselves. 12:04

Councils of the Antichrist` 6.

So despite the CoP’s better-knowing, JUST LIKE “900 and more years ago” the Papal envoy Augustine went to Whitbey, England, to try to persuade the Celts’ to become, uh, join, the Catholic <faith>, and they refused, JUST SO, hundreds of years ago, hundreds of years before the Tsars, Procopius (c. 500–560 CE) and Jordanes (fl. c. 551) called the Slavic peoples, the “Antes”.

WHY
did they, not would they, but did they, call the Slavic peoples, the “Antes”? Our AI CoP tells us: ~~Procopius notes that the Sclaveni and Antes were, at an early stage, referred to collectively by a term that highlighted their tribal identities and military organization.~~ The “Antes” was the designation initially given to the Russians by the Roman Catholic delegations who went to “researh” them, as Wilkerson puts it. The way our AI CoP explains it, Procopius (c. 500–560 CE) and Jordanes (fl. c. 551), were not Roman Catholic envoys, but Byzantine historians. Procopius was not a Roman Catholic envoy, he was essentially a historian and bureaucratic official of the government in Byzantium. (As if the Byzantine government wasn’t Roman Catholic!) And Jordanes was a historian chronicling Gothic and other barbarian peoples and their traditions and beliefs (and un-beliefs in the eyes of the Roman Catholics). Or were they traditions with no beliefs, traditions and beliefs of no religious importance or even visibility?

Chronicle the Barbarians! Barbarians in the eyes of who? In the eyes of not the Byzantine Roman Catholic government residing in Byzantium? Not the Pope / Popes – plural – holy sea of the Roman Catholic hierarchy of popes, prelates, cardinals, bishops, archbishops and priests and presbyters—AND ENVOYS? Not Roman Catholic delegates, to chronicle, expose and catalogue, DISSENT AND DISSENTERS – HERETICS, in the eyes of the Catholic Church Government?

You must be kidding! Go find out THOSE ANTICHRISTS THE ANTE’S, who they are and where they live and in whatever they believe and OPPOSE US, the Byzantine Roman Catholic CHURCH—, GOVERNMENT of CHURCH AND STATE altogether!

Go envoy, the Government provides all guarantees and securities, and come and report back to your holy father pope Watsenaam in person!

Not envoys? Nonsense!

Where was this information published. It reads like nothing else. What seminary did he get his doctorate?
He points out "Seven Councils of the Anti-Christ."
There were seven ecumenical councils: Nicaea (325), the First Council of Constantinople (381), the Council of Ephesus (431), the Council of Chalcedon (451), the Second Council of Constantinople (553), the Third Council of Constantinople (680–681), and the Second Council of Nicaea (787).
His list has two made up councils at 1 and 7.

This guy hasn't the slightest idea what he is talking about:
Catholicism is like a rigid pyramid. Got a pope at the top. It's got this 10:27 entire structure below it. It's very much a hierarchical authoritarian 10:32 system. The irony is that the Orthodox Christian church is nothing of the sort. 10:39 they will acknowledge certain people as having great power as a spiritual leader but 10:48 they don't, they're not a hierarchy at all. they're actually much more democraticI

The structure of both are very similar. The Bishop of Rome does not tell another bishop what to do. He can excommunicate a bishop who teaches falsely, has been told of his error, and persists in it. Otherwise, jurisdiction of matters in the region of the bishop are his own affairs. The Orthodox church functions much the same. The bishop doesn't have 'greater spiritual authority.' He is the bishop and has priests to carry out the ministry of their region. There is nothing democratic about it.

Hmm, I used to serve in the Divine Liturgy of the Byzantine Catholic Church (who are in union with the Pope). I do not remember anything about getting the Church and State together. I had difficulty with parts of your post. Perhaps you need a greater use of all caps and exclamation points.

FYI but relevant ?
I'm not aligned with a denomination so am always happy to discuss the beliefs/understandings of those who are.
ps I'm looking forward to any JW discussion you may have regarding John 1:1.
Myself I believe and accept that The Father, The Word, The HS existed before creation in a way and capacity that is beyond our feeble minds to understand

I really appreciate your response. God bless
I would have used <caps>, had <the Byzantine Catholic Church (who are in union with the Pope)> been the Church of Jesus Christ, but I am not persuaded that it is or ever had been.

The respected Col. Wilkerson,
Your stance for Five Solas Protestant Faith is appreciated. God bless

Please read my little comment. What made me write it was your reference to Ivan the terrible and Catherine the Great.

I started answer on Windows Dropbox Login or Sign Up - Dropbox and https://www.christianityboard.com/threads – not finished yet – trying to explain essential or lacking differences between Roman Catholicism and Greek Christian Orthodoxy, and Russian Christian Orthodoxy.
Why?
Because Roman Catholicism for most of its pre-Reformation history was essentially Byzantium Roman Catholicism which today for the best part of it manifests as Greek Orthodoxy.
Today’s Russian Orthodoxy has a more complex history which historians do not seem to even know about or successfully have avoided to expose, in my opinion not because of religious reasons only, but in our own time and day, more because of geo-political and ethnic reasons.

You mention Ivan Nd Catherine as having they reformed Russian Orthodoxy into some parallel Reformation Reformed form of Faith.
While actually, these leaders promoted English / British / Anglo Saxon Royal, Papal Roman Catholicism, in other words, they tried to Anglicanize Russian Orthodoxy.

You may check up the history of Ivan and Catharine’s ‘reforms’. They were nothing than succumbence to the Western, European and even then already, American type of Christianity rather than Christian Faith.

I love to degrade Catholicism which is only a works righteousness religion.

I believe the antichrist will be Jewish culture. He will not be a roman.
