Well....
A summary statement would be nice.

From some somewhat recently discovered sources....
The depictions of crucifixion where the legs are straight is something of a misnomer. The legs were really bent at the knees....making the pushing up to breath painful. (Like leg day at the gym).

Also means that when the soldiers came to break legs but Jesus's didn't need to be because he was already dead his belly would be distended down and out and a soldier would find it easy to pierce it to show that the blood had coagulated to the point that the plasma (water) had separated out.

The Soldier didnt stab Jesus in the belly.

Notice that Jesus said to Thomas.. "put your finger in my side".. as that is where they speared The Lord.

Listen...They stabbed The Lord probably just below the rib cage.. As that would be the correct angle for the soldier, to thrust up and under, the R-cage, as Jesus' chest was hanging somewhat above the soldier.

A summary wasn't necessary the title said it all.

We don't know how much the legs of Christ were bent at the knees - nor do we know if they nailed him in a way that he would have that deep type of bend in the knees that you were speaking of. Not all pictures show Jesus with bent knees.
