Is God the God of the living or the dead - how and why not ? - twinc
"And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible." Mark 10:27
Jesus is the truth [John 14:]. If He is God, then is he not by definition not a lie? With men on the other hand...?it is not possible for God to lie imho - twinc
BOTH...plus, He is the "God of the cattle on a thousand hills" too.
both is not what scripture says imho - twinc
He is God of all things...even the souls who died not knowing Him.
He is the God of the rocks, sea and mountain...there is nothing that He is not the God of.
Weather we Live we belong to Him, and if we die we belong to Him, SOOOOOOOOOO Weather we live or Die we Belong to Him, HE IS THE CREATOR OF EVERYTHING, So He holds the Patents to it All!
There are undoubtedly many people walking around planet Earth today who do not know God. But, on the other hand, God knows each and every one of us better than we know ourselves.are there some dead souls somewhere who may not have known Him for even Abraham rejoiced to see my day and he saw it and was glad
...sometimes I feel very dry and dead...but He is still my God.![]()
I wait to hear that from Him and so must you before such a claim - twinc

Some people may never accept Him as their Lord, but He is still God and everyone is ultimately affected by that. What happens to those who do not accept Him?
"He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." John 3:18
I speak what I know.
If God was the God of all the "dry bones" and he told Ezekiel to prophesy to the dry bones...and he did, and they lived , a mighty army.
Don't tell me that God is not the God of the driest dead bones.
At the end He will command all to stand before His Throne...both the living and the dead...the Christian and the non Christians. Those dead two or thousands of years...HE IS GOD.
You need to improve the clarity of your sentence to make it clear to readers what you mean. If you mean what I think you mean, I would have to understand better your point to pursue this further. But I am really unsure of your meaning.yes but He that believeth not because he hear it not or know it not will be born again as a Christian as you and I were - imho - twinc

What I think you mean is that the unbeliever who never hears or never knows will eventually be born again. But again I may have missed it altogether.
OK, now we have that clear anyway. For a person who believes in universalism [everyone eventually will be saved and be always with God] this would be fine. I only know of one person here with such a belief other than yourself, and it is definitely not me.this time you have it absolutely right - thank you for clarifying it for others to understand and comment - twinc
