That is NOT a Christian song.
It's a sad love song.
Maybe this is the problem....we've lost sight of what Christianity is.

Read my post again. I don't like Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah. It's not about Jesus. That's how watered down Christian music is today. In the 1800's Christians understood the Gospel, began printing Jesus' words in red to represent the shed Blood on the Cross. Hundreds of hymns were written for congregational singing, still used today. When is the last time you attended a church and they sung about heaven and preached against hell.

Read my post again. I don't like Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah. It's not about Jesus.

Absurd rationalization. Where do you get the idea that every song has to be about Jesus? The song is about praising God despite struggling. It's become one of my favorite songs due to this confession. What is your Hallelujah?

Hallelujah. Jah = Yhwh. Praise Yahweh = Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus always, whether you eat of drink, in all things do it for the Glory of God. 1 Corinthians 10:31.

Cohen is not a Christian and this song is a secular song by as told by Lenard Cohen himself. Hallelujah is not a Christian song and it does not give praise, Glory, and honor to Christ Jesus.

You have to start on common ground.
You don't believe that song is Christian makes no difference to me.
But did you see the people standing and listening?
A little honey catches more bees.

I don't think you all really know what we are up against.

Take your church in the middle of a public place and start singing gospel hymns.
Try that in NYC. Or Dearborn Michigan, Seattle Washington, Portland, Oregon, or LA, California.

Oh wait, you, YOU and Your Church are required to have a permit.

Special location, special time slot, and regulations, otherwise you get to PAY a Fine or get arrested.

Wake Up.

I don't know how it stands in Italy these days, But I don't know if I would even try this song in France to be honest.
But here in America our American Freedoms are being eroded by Islamist Extremists.
And you can either fight back with songs or swords. But you will have to make a choice.

This is coming whether you believe it or not.
And it will be right here on our American soil.

I guess this is for me since I live in Italy but I saw it purely by chance.
Christianity is in trouble,,,,in Europe it's practically dead.
At least in the states we have the bible belt...which is where I'd move to these days.
It's not so bad in Italy but the UK is done for and France is following.

These kids are taught to hate their countries.
They join with the muslims because they want to be part of the "gang" (or take away the quotation marks) and the UK kids are the minority...

It might be too late unless something really drastic is done.
This is what was wanted by some, certainly not the people who have to live an every day life in their home country..

The only thing dead should be my lunch meat. No sushi please, as I've had too much sea weed in my diet already. And I'm not going for the live mino raccoon style meal, nor no gold fish after party desert. Only barbecued properly.

Set it on the grill and serve me some BBQ chicken, maybe some steak, a good game hen. I like me that kinda rally, maybe some jet skis, a good motocross, or some fishing out back.

I see maybe some rainbow trout, alaskan salmon in my future.

Good ol' USA style relaxing with mother nature.
