We need to stick with what Scripture says, not our own ideas.

As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. (Rev 3:19)

He is addressing the church in the above verse and previous verses but it changes over to "any man" in the 20th verse.
Rev 3:20, Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
What was being rebuked and what must be repented?
It does not matter. You made a blanket statement which was false and misleading. Jesus also administered rebukes when He cleaned the temple (twice), and pronounced woes on the scribes, Pharisees, and lawyers.
