It was just a few years ago, when several red heifers were spotted in Rockwall, Texas. They were carefully inspected, and after being qualified by several rabbis, they were transported to Israel where they still reside today. So, what is the big deal with these red cows, and more importantly, why would Hamas concern itself with a Jewish Temple requirement?

They will make up many different reasons for their war against Israel.
Anything that legitimizes the land claims of Israel is worthy of fighting over for them.

Out of the book of Leviticus, Israel tries to start Mosiac Law, that Jesus condemned forever. They are angry today if you say or pray to Jesus. They still try to prove Christians wrong about saying that their Messiah came already. They are still blinded by the devil of this world. Every knee shall bow, and every tongue shall confess, Jesus as Lord.

Definitely most of Israel in the land today are not the people of God.
It was the same truth in Jesus and Paul's day

Romans 11

I say then, has God cast away His people? Certainly not! For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. 2 God has not cast away His people whom He foreknew. Or do you not know what the Scripture says of Elijah, how he pleads with God against Israel, saying, 3 “Lord, they have killed Your prophets and torn down Your altars, and I alone am left, and they seek my life”? 4 But what does the divine response say to him? “I have reserved for Myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal.” 5 Even so then, at this present time there is a remnant according to the election of grace. 6 And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. [a]But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work.

7 What then? Israel has not obtained what it seeks; but the elect have obtained it, and the rest were blinded. 8 Just as it is written:

“God has given them a spirit of stupor,
Eyes that they should not see
And ears that they should not hear,
To this very day.”
9 And David says:

“Let their table become a snare and a trap,
A stumbling block and a recompense to them.
10 Let their eyes be darkened, so that they do not see,
And bow down their back always.”

In reference to those God foreknew, speaks of a loving relationship; as those God foreknows, He predestined to be conformed to the image of Christ
So yes, God does not cast away His people who He foreknew, He saves them.

Romans 8

26 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession [g]for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. 29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.

When Paul said "all Israel will be saved", I believe Jesus fulfilled this promise over the last 2000 yrs.. Jesus knows those He made a covenant with, and I believe He saved them within the genetics shared over the generations that God foreknew.

The church of Christ is the New Jerusalem which is from above, only we are the people of God.
The Jerusalem which is here now is as Hagar and is in bondage with her children to this day.

Example Galatians 4

Two Covenants

21 Tell me, you who desire to be under the law, do you not hear the law? 22 For it is written that Abraham had two sons: the one by a bondwoman, the other by a freewoman. 23 But he who was of the bondwoman was born according to the flesh, and he of the freewoman through promise, 24 which things are symbolic. For these are [g]the two covenants: the one from Mount Sinai which gives birth to bondage, which is Hagar— 25 for this Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia, and corresponds to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children— 26 but the Jerusalem above is free, which is the mother of us all. 27 For it is written:

“Rejoice, O barren,
You who do not bear!
Break forth and shout,
You who are not in labor!
For the desolate has many more children
Than she who has a husband.”
28 Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are children of promise. 29 But, as he who was born according to the flesh then persecuted him who was born according to the Spirit, even so it is now.

30 Nevertheless what does the Scripture say? “Cast out the bondwoman and her son, for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.” 31 So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman but of the free.

The true children of God are born according to the promise of God, that Abraham would have an heir.
Galatians 4
28 Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are children of promise.
29 But, as he who was born according to the flesh then persecuted him who was born according to the Spirit, even so it is now.

You can see Issac was born according to the Spirit as the promised child. And Ishmael according to the flesh.

And this birth of us is a spiritual birth as the children of God, not according to genetics-blood-the flesh or the will of the man, but of the will of the Father.

John 1
10 He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. 11 He came to His [c]own, and His [d]own did not receive Him. 12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the [e]right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: 13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
