Yes they do-- here are 5 important teachings from Jesus.

1) Therefore, keep on seeking first the kingdom and his ( YHWH(Jehovah) righteousness, and all these other things will be added.( sustenance, covering, spirituality)
2) The Lords prayer--Hallowed be thy name( Father= YHWH(Jehovah)
3) Blessed( happy) are the meek( mild tempered) for they will inherit the earth.
4) Jesus teaches he has a God-John 20:17--his Father( YHWH(Jehovah) also rev 3:12
5) While praying to his Father at John 17:1-6) Jesus clearly teaches--the one who sent him( John 5:30) is THE ONLY TRUE GOD-- verse 6 = YHWH(Jehovah) --Paul backs up Jesus truth at 1 cor 8:6

Either Gods word teaches two different Gods (trinity vs singular. ) or Jesus and Paul teach truth and the trinity teaching is a contradiction of them--proving their translations are erred from centuries ago. We all must choose who we believe, one side is right one side is wrong.

You only find the narrow gate by learning Jesus' truths and applying Jesus' truths.

No they don't!
Floyd.

Prophets, Prophetesses, Shepherds and Teachers.

There are many people these days making pronouncements regarding The Holy Bible (Scripture), and claiming that what they say is the truth, the whole truth, and the only truth!

Starting with the statement of the writers that the Bible is the Word of God, and that the version used is a credible one, (see link; Bible Text corruption:), there can only be one Truth!

It is a truism to state that most people, at least in the early days of searching for God’s Truth, rely on other people’s opinions to help them to find for themselves. That is a dangerous and vulnerable time, and it is during this phase that Satan, in the guise of “goodwill” in people, churches and cults, will attempt to ensnare and entrap people, and lock them into one falsehood or another. Because of insecurity and vulnerability in peoples personalities and makeup, due to “nature and nurture”, the entrapment is all too easy, when a strong message, personality or church leadership is involved! Once committed to one group, or teaching, the ability to continue to use one’s own mind diminishes rapidly, to the point in some cases, that total subjugation occurs!

As so many churches, groups and cults teach at some level of error, how can a person know how to proceed?

Before discussing this basic question, there are a number of clear points from Scripture, that start to clarify a starting position.

Starting at the beginning of the Bible (KJV Companion), we know from Genesis, that Satan at the very outset attempted (successfully) to deceive Eve! Adam followed her willingly, and at that early stage showed the vulnerability of both! Eve should have consulted with Adam, who already knew from his relationship with God, that what Eve did went against the wishes and will of Almighty God, and Adam showed extreme weakness in not resisting both Satan and Eve. Both fell below the standard set by God, and they were condemned to death, not just physical death, but also spiritual death!

Taking that example we see that both men and women are failures. However, Adam must carry the responsibility for the situation, as he was the first created, and Eve was intended as a “help meet” (Gen. 2-18) for him. Therefore Adam is the one who should lead, and Eve to follow! The statement re Adam’s responsibility is confirmed in many Scripture passages, one of which is; “as in Adam all die, so in Christ shall all be made alive”, (1Cor. 15:22). So, ideally the man should lead, and the woman should follow! We all know that in many cases that is impossible in practice in general living in the world as it is now. We know also that many men refuse to take on their natural responsibilities, and that is left to the woman to do the work that men should be doing in life! This situation has created a false hierarchical system.

The dilemma is then, whose word should be taken as Truth when in the context of Scripture? It is here that we must turn to Scripture for an indication of the answer.

There are numerous references in Scripture warning about the involvement of women in the interpretation of, and the teaching of The Word regarding men, 1Tim. 2:12. One of the strongest in Ezek. 13:16-19, shows women deliberately lying to the elders of Israel, and shows God's condemnation of them. However, the authorities should not have reached the stage where it was possible to listen to Satanic women, and it is a condemnation of them! Men have also falsely claimed to speak for God in the Old Testament, with many examples shown, and the consequences of the false prophecies! Also the male priesthood became very corrupted (the shepherds of Israel), and as is shown in Jer. 23, their condemnation is great!

These examples show that as in Eden, both genders are equally fallible! So, why the emphasis by The Almighty on the male role in such matters? In the Genesis account of Adam’s creation, Gen. 1:26-27, reference is made to God’s image and likeness, and Adam was created first, and given all instruction regarding the garden of Eden. His is the responsibility, which is confirmed many times throughout the Bible! Adam proved fallible, but Eve was the one approached by Satan, who knew that his best chance of successful deceit lay with the woman! This we have to take as read, otherwise it would not be in the Word! The implication is that Eve was more easily beguiled than Adam. What is certain, is that men and women are at least equally capable of sin, but men nearly always know what they are doing, but still sin, whereas women may start down a road of sin without at first being aware!

It is a fact at the present time, that many women are leading "christian" and other groups, including some cults. Some of these teach a mixture of the Gospel of the Salvation of Christ, with other of the teaching of the group leaders, which are not always authenticated Scripture. These are very often for reasons of control and domination of people, whereas the Authentic message of Christ's Salvation, sets people truly free. Some groups claim miraculous powers, but as yet have to prove such, others deny the Lord's return to earth, and also His Millennial Reign, which means they either do not know Scripture, or are deceived by Satan! These people and groups are often the most vociferous, and are the ones to be particularly avoided! The fact that so often women have controlling and teaching functions in these aberrant organisations, may well be the same reason as in Eden, to beguile and mislead people!

Where does all this leave us as regards men’s and women’s roles in the here and now of practical living in the context of Scripture, and teaching? In this time in which we live, this question is crucial, as many believe that we are living just prior to the fulfilment of many prophesies regarding Christians, Israel and the nations of the world!

To take first the question of which church or group to attend, that is well covered in this link: Lie (the Rev.14:5);

Turning now to the main question, how and who to trust in the search for Truth? We have seen that both genders are fallible, with differences. We know that reference to reliable Scripture is the first recourse. With that in mind, the first link above covers the subject well. In the New Testament, the Apostle Paul (Apostle Paul ) was the spokesperson for Christ after Christ Ascended, and therefore what he spoke are the Words of Christ Himself! In Paul’s comments to Timothy (1Tim. 2:12), “I suffer not a woman to teach a man”, Paul/ Christ is re-establishing the role and responsibility of men, as intended in God’s whole Word! Undoubtedly the men in question are Christians, and the “mind of Christ” was/is developing in them! As that “mind” develops and matures, the greater is the wisdom and knowledge of Christ and God’s Word. The same applies to women, but their role ideally should be with women and children. What then you say, is wrong with women teaching men? Firstly the above comments regarding God’s order and command, but also the verse 1 Tim. 2:12 goes on to say, that women must not have authority over men, and in v13, that woman being deceived was in “the transgression”. Many if not most women these days will not accept that statement made by God, but it is The Word from Him, and is ignored at individual peril! However, we have the example by Paul of Timothy's early life (2Tim. 1:5), where Lois his grandmother and Eunice his mother were teaching him re Scripture, and also as role models for him. That Scripture shows the correct order and value for female teachers.

In practice how to proceed? In all the above, there are clear rules emerging.

-Use only a good Bible translation. The KJV (King James Version), is still a good starting point as it is based on the “Major Greek”. Many “New English” versions are based on “Minor Greek”, with many errors biased towards “modern” teachings in Churches, groups, and cults. In the opinion of the writers, an ideal is the Companion Bible, which is extremely reliable and informative, and is described in the first link above.

-Having found a good and True group, when men teach Scripture, always check for yourself that what they say conforms to Scripture. If it does not, and they refuse to examine their teaching against The Word, and in the company of the Eldership, or the members that administer the group, then one has to question the veracity of the group. The important principle here, is not to give up on the search for Truth, as at this stage, very often pressure is exerted to conform! Most sincere groups will examine the Word with you on your questions, it is when they conflict with control methods, or erroneous teaching that trouble will start with the controlling members. Many people at this stage become committed to a “Dogma”, and will often take “orders” or sponsored studies in one “school” or another, however, freedom to study independently must always be maintained! One must never abdicate one’s mind, the greatest of our fleshly gifts!

-Always if one is a man, wherever possible be taught by a man, so as to honour Christ’s wishes. However, that in practice is not always possible, and whether man or woman, ensure that your first principle is The Word, and not the words from men or women!

The Jews believe in one (singular) God also , and refused to believe Jesus could be God's Son

When Jesus said "Jehovah is my Daddy" it was considered pure blasphemy to the Jews

The Russel-Rutherford-Religion is more in line with Judaism than it is with Christianity

Many methods have been used to get rid of the Divinity of Christ .... call him just a man , or just a prophet , or a perfect man , or Michael The Archangel , any method works

However when you get rid of Christ in such a manner you have lost the salvation offered by Jesus. These people are what the bible calls an unbeliever. ,,,,, Even when Jesus was on earth there were people who walked with Him , talked with Him , saw him perform miracles .... yet they refused to believe

It is difficult for we humans to comprehend the Tri-Unity of The Father , Son , and Holy Ghost , .... but that is because of our limitations .... God has no such limitations .... He can be whatever He wants ..... He is Who He is ..... as a matter of fact that is what YHWH (Jehovah) loosely translates to .... "He is Who He Is" .

The plurality of God shines throughout the whole bible starting early in Genesis ..... God (plural) said ..... Let us make man in our image

The Jews believe in a singular God is because he is a singular God--YHWH(Jehovah) a single being God taught to Jesus his first 30 years attending synagogues, not once ever refuted that fact.
The kjv has errors as well.

Do Jesus' teachers, teach Jesus' truths? is the question so I will address that.

I have spent two years studying the the life and leadership of the New Testament Church and if what I find there is anything to go by, the answer is no, Jesus teachers do not teach Jesus truths.

For example, Jesus taught that if you want to be great you have to be the servant of all. I have heard it said that the pastor serves all by his preaching. That is after he has parked his car in a special car parking spot next to the door of the church.

I have heard of an itinerant preacher who demands $10,000 up front and first class air fares wherever he goes and five star accommodation.

And in most churches I have been involved in the pastor always sits at the top table and is waited on rather than him waiting on others.

What is teaching? What a person says or what he does? Paul didn't say be listeners of me. He said be followers of me. In other words do what I do, not what I say. A very interesting concept because if a teacher is not doing anything there is nothing to follow.

kjw 47 ..... all of us Christians believe in one God (singular) .... just like you do .... just like Charles Russell did.

None of us have objections to naming Him Jehovah (YHWH ) ... like Charles Russell insisted upon.

All of us wish it was just that simple .... just like Charles Russell did ... just like you do.

We all find it extremely frustrating trying to make sense of how The Father , The Son , and The Holy Ghost , can be a One God.

The best we can do is describe the tri-unity of the single God.

And I would be the first to agree it is a crappy explanation .... and i wish it wasn't so ... but we have no other choice.

The three aspects of the single God simmer to the surface all through the bible and we must acknowledge it.

Just look at the birth of Christ ..... we both acknowledge Jesus Christ is The Son of Jehovah God .... however it was The Holy Spirit who came upon Mary ...... thus The Holy Spirit has to be Jehovah God ...... see what I mean

I like you kjw 47 .... and I have many friends who are members of The Kingdom Hall .... they are very nice people , they are sincere about their religion , and they work hard at it .

We live in a day and age where we can read our own bibles without a Pope or a Russell interpreting it for us.

You have done a good job of showing the singular nature of Jehovah God (true) ..... now go through the bible and make a list of all the places where Jehovah is Son and Holy Spirit.

It will be a substantial list

Eventually you begin to understand that gosh-awful "trinity" word .

Best wishes

Instead of believing crappy explanations--a true follower applys Jesus' truths first.--Jesus teaches he has a God-John 20:17, rev 3:12---

Do you seriously believe that God has a God( with another God over there as well)?

That is a very good question and a good point. However, what if God were to exist in a form that is not a true manifestation of His character and nature? So, what if it is appropriate that He in fact does manifest all of His nature, character, and attributes in his eternal expression of Himself? If that were the case, what would that expression look like? Is God humble? Are humility and meekness found in Him? And if so, how would He express these? Is He in submission to His own character? It might make perfect sense that He sees it appropriate to express Himself in submission to Himself. (God having a God). Our human logic is not the be all to end all in discovering the nature of our Creator. I would think twice about appealing to it, as there are counter appeals that can be made, such as the one I just made. Logic is not a foolproof method. We may not be able to comprehend certain truths, but we can certainly apprehend them in scripture.

Except facts of reality cannot be ignored

1) Abraham, Noah, Moses, David, Elijah,Daniel, etc every Israelite that ever served the true almighty God served-YHWH(Jehovah) a single being God--The God they taught to Jesus his first 30 years attending the synagogues. The God of Jesus-John 20:17,rev 3:12, 1 cor 15:24-28)--- This is the God you want to be serving as well.

I replied to that already. But the bible that says the word was God, also said that the word became flesh and dwelt among us for a time. And then this man prayed to be restored to the glory he had with his father previous to this incarnation. You prove nothing by confirming what we all know, that Jesus left His glory and submitted Himself to God as a man. But all things were made by Jesus and through Jesus. And without Him, nothing was made that was made.(John 1:3) (The new world translation is not a reliable translation. It was made under the influence of the beliefs of the translators. They were not neutral in their language translations) .
Was Jesus created? (made). Impossible. In the Jewish culture, the firstborn son had full rights and privileges to be the heir of all the belongings and authority of the father, eventually inheriting the complete status of the father. Firstborn is a title, as we saw a man rob his brother of the title. But Jesus, in being called the firstborn, over all of creation, takes on the complete status of the Father, being seated at His right hand. If the Father chooses to honor His Son, who are we to dishonor Him? Do we deny His status? Knock yourself out.

In the greek written language--a or an was never written--the translator had to know where to put them from greek to English. In order for Jesus' truth to be in harmony with John 1:1--an a belongs in the last line--many translations in history knew this fact--it was Catholicism translators that did not put it there. to fit false council teachings of a trinity god. Even at the end of the Lords prayer--Jesus teaches--- the kingdom, power and glory all belong to YHWH(Jehovah= Father)

God always was and always will be--- nothing can be him but him alone.

kjw47 .... I am curious why someone like you does not research all the origins and endless untruths about the KJW org.

Rather than spending all your time bashing true Christians who teach Jesus true truths

Or are you here to gain prosecution points within your private little empire ?

I know how your outfit works.

Its all part of the brainwash to keep you from learning the truth

Best wishes with Charles Russell as your lord and savior.

good luck with that !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Erred translations? In whose opinion? But all trinity discussions aside, the true marks of a cult have more to do with the subject of what it takes to attain eternal life. The bible says life is a free gift. Your religion says otherwise.
Years ago, after much prayer and meditation, I received a revelation and followed through with it. I asked a J.W. if he expected to live forever. His answer was...I hope to live forever. Then I suggested..."but you are sure you will, are you not?"....His reply was the same..." I hope so".... Then I suggested that this was a matter of faith, to which he agreed. So I asked him...what is faith?

He gladly turned to the NWT and quoted from Heb.11:1... and read aloud..." Now faith is the assured expectation of things hoped for...." Guess what? He could not say that he had an assured expectation. He only had what you call hope. He scrambled at that revelation and after his mouth finished dropping, recovered by saying..."yeh but you can lose your faith". hmmm I wonder when he lost his.

Now, we use the word 'hope' differently than what it meant in that passage. We use it as a wish, as in "I hope I can stay healthy". But that is not what the word meant when it was translated. This was understood in the previous centuries when girls would put together a 'hope chest' of things they intended to take with them into their anticipated eventual marriage. The word "hope" in the bible actually means an anticipation of a future event. Faith therefore is the assurance of the anticipated fulfillment of God's promise. Faith is the method by which we receive gifts from God, as it is the proof that we believe and trust what He is promising. That is how we get the gift. By accepting it as promised.....freely. Faith comes by hearing. What are you hearing from your religion?

The reason your religion can't give you the assurance of your future eternal life is because they teach you (in subtle innuendo) that it is up to you to earn it. That is the antithesis of faith. That makes it a cult. This business of the trinity is just a diversion from the more relevant issue. Will you accept life as a free gift or not? (re:Rom.5:15-19) Furthermore, have you responded to the invitation in Rev.3:20? Or do you have an aversion to the concept of Jesus dwelling within you and having fellowship with you?

I know I am wasting my time because Russell and associates have completely screwed with your head
And you tend to like it that way

Here is who you and Russell are :
For, as I have often told you before and now tell you again even with tears, many live as enemies of the cross of Christ.
For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing
...............................................

Here are some "Jesus truths" if you care to read them :
Whoever does not take up their cross and follow me is not worthy of me.
Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.
Let him come down now from the cross, and we will believe in him.
Carrying his own cross, he went out to the place of the Skull
preach the gospel—not with wisdom and eloquence, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power.
For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ,
and in one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross
by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.

...........

And my all time favorite ....

And Jehovah God
being found in appearance as a man,
he humbled himself
by becoming obedient to death
even death on a cross

There is 0 proof--Jesus died on a cross--only a mistranslated word in the bible--every scholar knows the greek word Stauros = torture stake not cross.

Not a single translation in history said--- Jehovah God found in appearance of a man, etc--this is fabricated nonsense--Jesus never said this.

You strain out a gnat and swallow a camel? It is not worth arguing about the nature or shape of the tree, when the Son of God on the tree is the intended focus of our attention and response. The nails were real. The blood was real. The flesh was torn, and the veil was torn. The way to the Holy of Holies was broadened by the sacrifice of Jesus on the _______.
As well, who can really understand the relationship Jesus has with His Father? We will all know and understand properly at the appropriate time. In the meantime, He is desiring to fellowship with us personally by His indwelling presence. Why don't we stick with what matters to Him? Do you think He really is impressed with who is smarter than who? Or who has all his facts straight?

And who says Jesus is the focus---trinity religions---Jesus teaches( what matters most)---- Therefore, keep on seeking first the kingdom and his(YHWH(Jehovah) righteousness and all these other things will be added.( sustenance, covering, spirituality) ---- Jesus said this must be first.

Facts matter--- The Father( YHWH(Jehovah) is searching for suchlike ones to worship him in spirit and truth.

The relationship is easily understood--John 20:17, rev 3:12, 1 cor 15:24-28)--- except in erred trinity translations which contradict fact.

The bible says Jesus is the focus. Jesus said that when the Holy Spirit comes, He will testify of Me. And by the way. Jesus said that living forever comes to those who partake of His flesh and blood. That is a Jesus teaching. He also said that whoever believes on Him will not perish but have everlasting life. That is a Jesus teaching. In Luke 18:10-14, He spoke of two men praying to God. The one shared all the good things he was doing, and the other beat his breast, confessed his sin, and asked for mercy. Guess which one went away justified? The conclusion was that everyone who exalts himself will be humbled and everyone who humbles himself will be abased. That is a Jesus teaching.
And I don't have a problem with John20:17. Do not cling to Me, was good advice, because He was not hanging around. And His calling the Father "My God" is no problem with me at all. However, He did promise that both He and the Father would come and make their home with His believers. This is fulfilled in the sending of the Holy Spirit. So, the relationship is realized in the indwelling presence of Jesus and the Father, by way of the Holy Spirit. I don't really care if you refuse to call that a trinity. It is just a man made term. But the facts do not change. They want to inhabit you and I by way of the Holy Spirit. And this is my testimony. Is it yours?
