When it comes to learning the bible it is good to know what is being said with-in the context in consideration of the written letter itself. You will learn very much about what it means to not Grieve the Spirit. Ephesians 1:1-9 (Talking about author, who is being written to) Ephesians 4:17-32 (Talking about the new man).

Having faith, and having love for God and others is what it is always about, and may you find encouragement to keep going in a world that can be very tough to live in. May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you on your journey.

Ephesians is a very interesting Chapter that encourages even us today to look and rely on God and the Lord Jesus Christ, in partaking in walking in the new ways of the spirit. You have been adopted as you call out to your Father in the spirit, (Galatians 4:6).
