Henry Kissenger, former Secretary of State, who died recently at the ripe old age of 100 once said, "power is the great aphrodisiac."

Epstein list now delayed till Jan 22.
The lawyers working to have that list of names never officially released.
It appears from unofficial lists of names that many wealthy, famous, celebrities, and US politicians have been there.

This list is really just the tip of the iceberg. It's only names connected to the Guiffre\Maxwell case. So, there may or may not be any big surprises. I expect more will be coming out later. Drip, drip, flood.

Partial list here of some of the names and what these people did and what they said

Thanks to court filings and news reports, from The Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, and others, the list of prominent people who were associates of Jeffrey Epstein continues to grow. For many, their ties to the notorious sex trafficker and longtime high-society hobnobber were not previously known, as they did not appear in Epstein’s infamous black book or in the public flight logs of passengers who traveled aboard his private jet before his jailhouse death in 2019 while awaiting trial.

We’ve also learned about deeper ties between Epstein and some boldfaced names with whom he had already been associated, including how frequently Epstein met with his high-flying pals.

In December 2022, the US Virgin Islands filed a lawsuit in a federal court in New York against JPMorgan Chase alleging the Wall St bank had been complicit in helping Epstein traffic vulnerable women and girls into “sexual servitude” at his two secluded islands.

The USVI’s attorney general alleged JPMorgan helped “pull the levers” through which Epstein paid his network of enablers and victims.

Epstein withdrew as much as $750,000 a year in cash from JPMorgan accounts even after the late paedophile had been “red flagged” by the bank as a child sex offender, attorneys for the territory alleged in the lawsuit.

JPMorgan rejected the allegations and tried to shift blame for Epstein’s crimes onto high-ranking USVI officials. Their lawyers claimed that the USVI shielded him from accountability while “reaping the benefits of his wealth”.

In early 2023, the USVI quietly began issuing subpoenas for the bank’s top executives and other powerful, peripheral figures who were dragged into the case.

Among them were JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon, Tesla CEO and Twitter owner Elon Musk, and Google’s co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin.

There is no suggestion that any of the men were involved in Epstein’s offending.

trump, too!

Epstein was well-known in celebrity circles and high society. Trump once had an association with him too before he knew what he was about. But there's no evidence he ever flew to Epstein's island. In fact, Trump banned Epstein from Mar-a-Lago for hitting on a member's teenaged daughter. He also helped lawyer Bradley J. Edwards when he was sued by Epstein for defamation.

Back in 2016
Donald Trump recently signed the Children’s Internet Safety Presidential Pledge, promising to “uphold the rule of law by aggressively enforcing existing federal laws to prevent the sexual exploitation of children online.” Hillary Clinton refused to sign — citing a policy against signing any pledges — but said she agrees with its goals.

The pledge was created by Enough is Enough, a nonprofit which aims to make the Internet safer for children, primarily by combatting illegal pornography and sexual predation.

To this end, the pledge advocates aggressive enforcement of existing obscenity, child-pornography, sexual-predation, and sex-trafficking laws in order to prevent children from stumbling across hardcore pornography online or, more importantly, from becoming victims of stalking or trafficking.

The pledge states that signatories will enforce the Children’s Internet Protection Act and advance public policy to reduce the threat of Internet-enabled exploitation.

I deleted here the anti_trump rhetoric
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

All that said, given the available research on the harms of Internet pornography, especially on children, the Republican nominee deserves to be praised for his support of the pledge — if it is sincere. Concern about the link between Internet pornography and child exploitation — along with other societal harms — is well-founded.

The statistics contained in the pledge cite a number of recent studies — for instance, a third of 11-to-14 year olds have watched porn on a mobile device, and “teen porn” is the most-searched-for term on pornographic websites. Meanwhile, 53 percent of boys and 28 percent of girls aged 12 to 15 report using explicit pornography, mostly via the Internet. The average age of first exposure to pornography is 12.2.

From 2005 to 2011, there was a 774-percent increase in the number of child-pornography cases reviewed through the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children’s child victim identification program. By the end of 2012, this program had analyzed over 80 million instances of child pornography since it began work in 2002.

A growing body of research shows a strong connection between the sex industry and sexual slavery and trafficking. According to one such article, many experts say that a quarter-million children are likely involved in various forms of commercial sexual exploitation.

Regardless of the debate over the harms of adult pornography use vs. First Amendment rights, the increasing number of children being exposed to pornography at such young ages, often accidentally, is surely a cause for concern. These costs are real, and efforts to address them through public policy deserve serious consideration.

If you read the above, as it shows, the problem goes way beyond Epstein who while a prolific sex crazed abuser of children, is like a drop in the bucket. He is just a provable target with high visibility to the world.
