I am looking at things from two sides, the natural and the spiritual, and you look at it by only one side, the spiritual. That's why I used the coin analogy. So whose missing something here? The apostle Paul was the Einstein of the theological world, so he reasoned many things intellectually, and yet had faith and the Spirit. Thank God I came from the way you used to reason to the understanding I have now--- couldn't be natural. Must be supernatural of the Spirit to understand God's Word.

Funny thing the NT starts with a massive genealogy. So we can't use passages like Titus 3:9 quoted without discretion to tap dance around that subject. Therefore, since the bible is replete with genealogies, and yet such a verse exists, it must mean there is more to the issue at hand. No wonder it was said of Paul that his writings were hard to understand, so men twisted his writings, like the other scriptures, to their destruction. I'm not always right, but nine chances out of ten when the genealogy issue is brought up by someone, I am usually debating someone under 30, barely knowing anyone past their grandparents. What I am saying is that I was once a kid that way, too, thinking I had all the answers.

OK, fine. I have no problem with the Law. But what about Genesis 35:11, or here's another one--- Genesis 48:19? The Law does not nullify the covenant given 450 years earlier with Abraham. God was still obligated to keep it to Abraham's seed whether they obeyed or not. He could withhold it for a season, but never nullify it. I'm still not convinced you are even differentiating between the two, and you want my eyes opened?

But please do not take a shot at those who are because the bible is replete with numbers and they have a symbolic representation of spiritual truths. And BTW, I never came from a Bible college. I think they take more the side of what you are saying, so I stayed away.

Well, you seem to be shutting too much out from God's Word for the truth to sink in yourself. I know everything you are talking about spiritually, but that is just one facet. There's more. So what are you suggesting, that I dummy up some to see the truth, some simplicity in Christ? I dare not do that because by doing it I am effectively rejecting much of God's Word and sweeping it under the carpet.Bottom line, you are miffed because someone here (and several others) shook up your core foundation of your theology packed in a nice little box. There's things that even after 30 years of study in the bible I can't figure out yet, but this covenant stuff is not one of them. Now, I was just talking about the Abrahamic Covenant. Don't get me started on the Davidic Covenant where God promises a lineage in all generations to this earthly throne. And if there is a King, then there has to be a people yet.

The Elect are immune to the "plagues" of Babylon. We've been called out that confusion of voices and mixture, and are safe and SOUND (of sound mind) in Christ Jesus. Your Bible-trivia play time is of no interest to those of us caught up in end time prophetic insight and purpose. We're pressing on to the high calling in Christ Jesus. Going on to perfection.Like I said, we're coming from two different dimensions. By the way, have you been baptzed "in the name of Jesus Christ" yet, according to Acts 2:38? Maybe your problem is a "Trinitarian" cloud of idolatry still hanging over your head. There is a proper "Door" to enter through. And a proper "foundation" to be built upon. Maybe you haven't yet started right. If the "cornerstone" of a buiding isn't right...then the further you go, the further you must back track and start over. This is what today's God-ordained prophetic ministries are here to set straight.
