I responded to the question in the OP. You've gone off on a tangent.
Before receiving Life again from the Lord, the Life which Jesus brought, everyone has been dead already. Adam and Eve died when they disobeyed and all of their offspring were born dead. They did have left to them a glimmer of hope, but they were dead. Natural life is Not Life according to God, not real Life.
"But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die" Gen 2:17
Ge 3:6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
They did eat and they did die as Jesus confirms:
"But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead." Matt 8:22
They were walking around and they were talking and they considered themselves to be alive as people today, who know not God, do, but they are zombies [walking dead men] and don't even know it. Jesus brought Life for those who would have it...
"The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." John 10:10
The body to the soil, the spirit to God, but that is the corruptible and corrupted spirit of a dead man... unless the person has received the quickening Spirit of Life Jesus brought. Jesus and the Holy Spirit are the fulfillment of the Hope given in Genesis, a Hope for Life! Jesus brought an opportunity for people to do what Adam and Eve failed to do in the Garden: obey God to the end of their course.
