Rejecting Christ's Millennium requires rejecting Ezekiel as a true prophet of God.

And when this cometh to pass, (lo, it will come,) then shall they know that a prophet hath been among them. (Ezek 33)

When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him. (Deut 18)

The law of prophecy of God in Scripture is clear: If a prophet prophecies anything, and it come not to pass, that is a false prophet.

If the prophecies of Ezekiel do not come to pass as written, then he must be judged a false prophet.

Those denying Christ's Millennium prophesied by Ezekiel, declaring it will not come to pass at all, must also according to Scripture, declare Ezekiel a false prophet.

This includes those that reject parts of Ezekiel's prophecy, and so must reject all of Ezekiel's prophecy pertaining to Christ's Millennium.

To disannul Ezekiel's prophecy of animal sacrifices in the Millennium, is to disanull all of Ezekiel's prophecy of the Millennium.

Doing so by theological arguments, that are not proven by Scripture, is no excuse.

We either accept the Millennium of Christ as plainly written by all the Millennial prophecies in Scripture, or we reject the Millennium altogether, or we make up our own personal millennium to teach.

And so, let's look at the bull and the goat in the room:

Where does God in Scripture say that animal sacrifices made unto the Lord, is ever a sin.

Scripture plainly says that unbelievers offering animal sacrifices, is not to the true God, but to gods that are no gods:

But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils.

And the blood of bulls and goats still cannot purge the soul and conscience from sinning.

But no Scripture forbids making such sacrifices to Jesus Christ, but like circumcision of the flesh, it is only in error when doing so as by law of Christ and to be saved and justified by Christ.

No Scripture plainly says, that animal sacrifices made once again in Christ's Millennial reign, by the natural priesthood of Hebrews and Jews, is a sin and transgression of His law. Without such plain Scriptural law, then to declare it sin is false, and is making up one's own law:

Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression.

Such a made up law and sin, clearly makes Ezekiel a false prophet, and judges the Lord and King as prophesier of unlawful things for His Millennium.

Neither does it frustrate the gospel of Jesus Christ during His Millennium, because those animal sacrifices do not prevent any man from coming to hear the gospel and law of the Lord from His own mouth, and being saved and born again to walk in His paths.

We know this, because with the animal sacrifices being offered to the King on behalf of all nations, there will also be many people saved by the Lord on earth:

And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

Thus saith the LORD of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you.

“Then the priest of Jupiter, which was before their city, brought oxen and garlands unto the gates, and would have done sacrifice with the people. Which when the apostles, Barnabas and Paul, heard of, they rent their clothes, and ran in among the people, crying out, And saying, Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein…” (Acts 14:13-15)

Ezekiel’s prophecy seems to be using illustrative language when mentioning animal sacrifices.

That’s the way it reads to me in light of what was revealed in the New Testament.

Will there be sacrifices in the new Temple?

When the Lord’s righteous people go to live in all of the Holy Land, soon after it is cleared and cleansed by the Lord’s Day of fiery wrath, Ezekiel 34:11-31, they will build a new Temple in Jerusalem, according to the details given in Ezekiel 40-46

Many Old Testament prophesies attest to this, how it will be built by men from far away, Zechariah 6:15, and it will be greater than the former ones. Haggai 2:9
The New Testament too, makes it clear there will be a Temple, 2 Thess. 2:4, Rev. 11:1-2, that will exist until the end of the Millennium, when God Himself will be the Temple. Revelation 21:22

We are told that during this age of Church dispensation, Christ is our high priest and we are the spiritual Temple, 2 Cor. 6:16 and no sacrifices are required. Hosea 9:4

Hebrews 9 & 10:1-21 are the scriptures that clearly tell us that Jesus made the once and forever sacrifice for the expiation of our sins. Now there is no Temple and Christians are His ‘body’ on earth. This is just for the time from the early church until the new Temple is built, when there will again be offerings and thanksgiving gifts made by the Lord’s holy people. Isaiah 56:1-8, Jeremiah 33:14-15

Daniel 7:25 and Daniel 9:26-27 tells us how, in the last days, an invading leader will make a peace treaty with the holy people, but will break it and put a stop to the sacrifices and offerings. Obviously there will be sacrifices and offerings taking place, for him to stop them.

This is confirmed by the prophesies detailing how it will be during the period the righteous people of God will be living the Land before the Return of Jesus:
Psalms 51:18-19 Now Lord, show Your favour to Zion and rebuild Jerusalem. Then You will delight in the appointed sacrifices, young bulls will be offered in Your altar.

Jeremiah 17:24-26 Now, if you obey the Lord’s Commandments, then a ruler will again occupy David’s throne and Jerusalem will be inhabited forever. Then people will come bringing whole offerings, sacrifices as thank offerings to the Lord’s House.

Jeremiah 33:14-18 The days are coming when I shall bless Judah and Israel…….there will always be a Levitical Priest to burn the grain and other offerings every day.

Ezekiel 45:13-25 The details of and the dates for making all the sacrifices and offerings on the Altar of the Temple.

Zechariah 14:21…all who come to make sacrifice will use the holy pots in Jerusalem to boil the flesh of the sacrifice……

Isaiah 60:6-7 Livestock in droves will be in the Land to serve your needs, as acceptable offerings on My Altar and I will adorn My glorious Temple.

The context of these scriptures proves that all this will be for the last days’ period before the Return of Jesus. What will happen during the Millennium isn’t told to us, although there will be priest’s then. Revelation 20:6

But we know there will be no Temple in Eternity. Revelation 21:22

Dispensational Theology is error. Catch phrases such as “church age” come from this erroneous theological system.

Ezekiel and all other future temple prophecies are summed up here:

“Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days? But he spake of the temple of his body.” (John 2:19-21)

“Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?” (1 Corinthians 3:16)

“Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.” (1 Peter 2:5)

It’s that simple.

9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.
10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

Does Paul make Ezekiel a false prophet by declaring that the first sacrifices were taken away once for all to establish the second Sacrifice?

Yes; Bible Prophecy is simple: We Christians are the temple of God for this Church age. But how can you ignore the Prophesies I posted in #3 [and there are more] that confirm that there will be a new Temple in Jerusalem during the end times.
Do the animal sacrifices atone for sins
Animal sacrifices have never atoned for human sins. They COVER for them.
As Ezekiel 45:20 says: they cover for those who make mistakes and for the simple minded.

People who make categorical statements, should check how many scriptures they ignore or violate before making themselves look silly.

No. Ezekiel did not write about the Millennium. What he described was a pattern God wanted Israel to follow. It was an ideal life under the old covenant but Israel never followed that pattern. It was NOT prophecy.

Does anything in Ez. 40+ actually say it's a prophecy? Is it a false prophecy if it's not talking about the millennium? While Ezekiel is indeed a prophet not everything in his book is a prophecy and that is the same w/ all of them. Perhaps it's not a false prophecy but a false understanding of perceived prophecy.

Many Claim Ezekiel Chapters 40-46, Represents A Future Temple In A Millennium On Earth, Is This True?

As clearly shown, Ezekiel Chapter 43 showed the temple "Pattern" to the House of Israel in the Babylonian Captivity let "Them" measure, Ezekiel was instructed to write the ordinances and law in "Their" sight, that "They" keep them, not some future generation as many "Falsely" claim

The temple seen in Ezekiel Chapters 40-46 is nothing more than the 2nd Zerubbabel Temple built 536BC after the Babylonian Captivity, where animal sacrifice for "Sin" was was instructed by "God", prior to the shed blood of Jesus Christ on Calvary, don't be deceived

Ezekiel 43:10-11 & 19-21KJV
10 Thou son of man, shew the house to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities: and let them measure the pattern.
11 And if they be ashamed of all that they have done, shew them the form of the house, and the fashion thereof, and the goings out thereof, and the comings in thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the laws thereof: and write it in their sight, that they may keep the whole form thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and do them.

19 And thou shalt give to the priests the Levites that be of the seed of Zadok, which approach unto me, to minister unto me, saith the Lord God, a young bullock for a sin offering.
20 And thou shalt take of the blood thereof, and put it on the four horns of it, and on the four corners of the settle, and upon the border round about: thus shalt thou cleanse and purge it.
21 Thou shalt take the bullock also of the sin offering, and he shall burn it in the appointed place of the house, without the sanctuary.

Accepting Robert's Millennium requires asking a pertinent question. Tell us Mr. Derrick: Do the animal sacrifices atone for sins committed during your millennium?
The fact is Ezekiel chapters 40-46 represents Zerubabbels 2nd time built in 536BC as post #13 above shows, and it has nothing to do with a future make believe Millennial Temple as Robert and many falsely claim

To disannul Ezekiel's prophecy of animal sacrifices in the Millennium, is to disanull all of Ezekiel's prophecy of the Millennium.

Where does Ezekiel mention some supposed future millennium? Nowhere. You add it unto the sacred text.

Premils are so enthralled with the old covenant arrangement that they cannot seem to accept the removal of the shadow, type and figure. Amillennialism interprets the Old by the New. This is the correct and only way to comprehend the detail of the OT. Amillennialists believe Jesus Christ was the final sacrifice for sin.

It is as if Christ’s perfect life, atoning death and glorious resurrection are not enough for Premils; not perfect enough, not satisfactory enough, and not final enough.

The reality is: the shedding of His blood satisfied the Father and reconciled the sinner to God, securing eternal redemption (1 John 1:7). By attempting to reintroduce animal sacrifices, Premillennialism does great injury to the work of Christ on the Cross, undoes the once all-sufficient sacrifice that Christ made for sin, undermines the eternal nature of the atonement, and disregards numerous New Testament passages that conclusively prove that Christ’s blood sacrifice was final and eternal. The Old Testament system that employed animal sacrifices was nailed to the Cross and blotted out according to the New Testament.

Colossians 2:14 plainly and unambiguously declares, that Christ's atonement resulted in the “Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross.”

The Greek word for “Blotting out” here is exaleiphō (eks-ä-lā'-fō) meaning: ‘to wipe off, wipe away, to obliterate, erase, wipe out, blot out’

These old covenant ordinances (rites and rituals) pertaining to the ceremonial law were obliterated at the cross.

For those that still anticipate the renaissance of the old abolished ordinances we need to ask: When did (or will) the “blotting out the handwriting of ordinances” occur? From this passage it is clear, Christ “took it out of the way” by “nailing it to his cross.” These ordinances embraced the old covenant civil, ceremonial or ecclesiastical law. They were finished at the cross.

Colossians 2:16-17 tells us: “Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.”

The Greek word translated “holyday” here is heorte meaning feast or festival. Of 27 mentions of this word in the normally precise KJV, it is interpreted “feast” in all of them apart from here.

New American Standard interprets: “Therefore let no one act as your judge in regard to food or drink or in respect to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath day -- things which are a mere shadow of what is to come; but the substance belongs to Christ.”

The Living Bible says, “So don't let anyone criticize you for what you eat or drink, or for not celebrating Jewish holidays and feasts or new moon ceremonies or Sabbaths. For these were only temporary rules that ended when Christ came. They were only shadows of the real thing-of Christ himself.”

Paul is saying here that the old covenant feasts and festivals simply served as types and shadows of things that were to come. They looked forward to the new covenant arrangement and the reality and substance in Christ. The Jews of Ezekiel’s day and Zechariah’s day would never have understood this.

Colossians 2:20-22 finally sums up the sums up the biblical position today: “Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances, (Touch not; taste not; handle not; Which all are to perish with the using) after the commandments and doctrines of men?”

This is not talking about the moral law, it is talking about the ceremonial law. It is a redundant system. Christ took the whole old system away. The old Mosaic ceremonial law is completely gone. It is useless.

Christianity took us away from the old Mosaic ceremonial law completely. Those who argue for a return to the old system fail to see that it has been rendered obsolete through the new covenant.

Hebrews 7:18-19 makes clear: “For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof. For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.”

This word “disannulling” is taken from the Greek word athetesis meaning cancellation.

The phrase “weakness and unprofitableness” used here to describe the old abolished system actually reads asthenes kai anopheles literally meaning: feeble and impotent useless and unprofitable.

It is hard to believe that Christian scholars would promote the return, on the new earth of all places, of such a hopeless discarded arrangement.

When Christ made that final sacrifice for sin He satisfied all God’s holy demands for sin and uncleanness and thus Christ became the final substitution for the sinner. Ephesians 2:13-15 also says, “now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition [between us]; Having abolished (katargeo) in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances.”

The Greek word katargeo is used here to describe the fate that befell the old Mosaic ritualistic system relating to “the law of commandments contained in ordinances.” This word means: ‘bring to nought’, ‘none effect’, and ‘abolish’. Jesus did away with any need or reliance upon the outward keeping of the old covenant religious system. The cross fulfilled forever God’s demand for a perfect once-for-all sacrifice.

Hebrews 7:16 tells us that Christ “is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life.”

The whole context here is the removal and the replacement of the old covenant priesthood, the writer of the Hebrews presents Christ as heavens eternal replacement. What is more, we can see that this priesthood cannot pass from one to another, it is not transferrable. No other can appropriate this title or share in the function of the position, Christ alone holds that sacred high priestly office. Christ is the only real and perfect high priest today. He is the ultimate and final High Priest of the redeemed of God.

The animal sacrifices were done away forever. Hebrews 10:4-12 explains, For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins. Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me: In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure. Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God. Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law; Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.”

When Jesus died on the cross He instituted the new covenant which allowed the believer to access God directly. No longer would the bulk of God’s people be excluded from the presence of the Lord by a veil. No longer did they need an earthly priest to represent them before God. They were now free to approach Him personally by simple faith. Christ removed the partition between God and His people when He laid down His life for our sins. He became man’s final high priest.

The curtain between the believer and God was eternally torn apart. The separation was removed. Matthew 27:51 says, “And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent.” This veil was representative of Christ’s physical body. It was torn apart in order to secure eternal redemption for God’s people. It is only through Jesus that we can approach God. The way to salvation can only be found in Jesus.

For what purpose would we need a third temple? Christ is the realization of the shadow, symbol, and type. He is the ultimate fulfillment. He is the eternal temple. Is He not enough? Is He not acceptable enough? Do you need something greater?

Premillennialism … undermines the eternal nature of the atonement
This statement is not an exaggeration. Uber-premillennialism literally teaches a return to animal blood for covering of sin. Mild premillennialism says it is memorial. In either case, it still undermines Christ’s work. The Lord supper is our memorial and to go back to animal sacrifice for any reason is an abomination.

Exactly! When Jesus cried it is finished, the old covenant sacrifice system was finished. This was reinforced by the ripping of the temple curtain in two. Christ was the final sacrifice for sin.

Hebrews 7:27 says of Christ and His final atonement, “Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did once, when he offered up himself.”

Hebrews 9:28 explains that "Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many.”

Hebrews 10:10 says, “we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.”

Hebrews 10:12 says, “this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God.”

Hebrews 10:14 says, For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.”

There it is! Clear and irrefutable! This is the sacrifice to end all sacrifices forever!!! "Forever" actually means "forever."

Romans 6:10 says, he died unto sin once.”

1 Peter 3:18 says, “For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit.”

Hebrews 9:12 explains, “by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.”

Christ put an end of sin by this final transaction for sin, thus making an end of sin forever for those who would believe. There will never again be a sacrifice for sin. Christ’s atonement satisfied heaven’s holy demands and ensured that there would never again be another sacrifice/offering for sin carrying God’s blessing.

While I appreciate you going to Scripture to try and prove all animal sacrifices are now idolatrous, your example simply confirms the argument, that they are only when offered to false gods, and in this case, men, which at the time became acceptable for the Caesars of Rome.

All sacrifices and burnt offerings of man, that are not to the true God, are always idolatrous and to devils. This included the rebellious children of Israel, whose sacrifices were an abomination to the God of Israel, even when offered in His name.

Once again, no Scripture says any offering nor sacrifice made to the Lord God, is become sinful, and so Ezekiel's prophecy of them must be disannulled by theological sentiments, or symbolized away as false.

Ezekiel’s prophecy seems to be using illustrative language when mentioning animal sacrifices.

Sorry brother/sister, but this is the differently-worded practice of those gross symbolizers, that turns much of the Bible into symbolic fables only.

I've seen enough of it from OSAS, JW's, and Amils, to know the results of it abundantly used for false doctrine, gospel, and prophecy.

According to Scripture, if the plain words of prophecy do not come to pass as written, they are false prophecy.
That’s the way it reads to me in light of what was revealed in the New Testament.
No light of the NT reveals any and all burnt offerings and sacrifices are sinful. They never were, nor will they be in Christ's Millennium, otherwise the Lord God would have been sinning and commanding sin, since He first made an animal sacrifice to clothe sinful man.
