False Balance in the Modern Church

I post this here not so much because I think the doctrine is unorthodox, but because it will be controversial....controversial and true.

What keeps us from experiencing the life and power of the early church? Are we ready to let go of many of our modern interpretations of the bible in favour of a more balanced apostolic paradigm? Are we ready for a shift in paradigm?

Jesus came to institute a "new and living way" in Himself, not a new dogmatic way, or a new religious way. And what about those who seek to enter into Christ by the narrow (lawful) way and are unable? Can these take the liberty of naming and claiming lawlessly to be in Him? Doesn't Jesus reject the many who will do so? Empty slogans, false piety, misguided zeal...all not worthy of a follower of Christ.

How hard anti-Christian and anti-church lazy arm chair Christians have to scourer the scriptures to twist scriptures to believe Christians should not go to church. The Bible does not preach the "church of one"

This absurd belief against the Christian community and church goes against the theme of the whole Bible and history.

The church is people joined together in love and simplicity. No 401k required.

I bear the reproach of Christ, just like the bible says I should. The system stands against the truth just as in the time of Jesus. Human nature hasn't changed...and the flesh remains the flesh.

No correction is able to be accepted in the modern church culture...they will say...start your own church just like we did. Sound doctrine is not tolerated...everything is subjective...the flesh puts up a religious defense...defending what God would crucify. It is no wonder at the reproach of Christ would come on any or all who bring light into the situation.

Discourse is impossible, honesty is impossible, discussion is impossible. And yet these same impossible to reach people come to chat groups.

My evidence is the whole Bible and the history of Christianity. You got nothing. Please excuse my stern response but when I am communicating with some one that spewing rhetoric that sounds like the Anti-Christ I get a little peeved.

Sure...but being uninformed and making outrageous claims makes you do what you say I'm doing. Do you think the modern church is unable to be corrected...that God will receive all with open arms despite the slide into sin?

Instead of reacting....from the flesh...engage the points...if you dare have such honesty. Wouldn't the truth be better served if you had the facts rather than a knee-jerk reaction?

How is this not the behaviour of someone who is indoctrinated into a cult? Intolerance. No grace....no truth. Judgment...of course.

What is being exposed here is a hateful mindset, a cancel culture of the flesh. A now religious flesh. Is this among actual followers of Christ? Or just Jesus fans? This problem is not based on any issue except to double down when any kind of correction is given. Prophets today are hated as always. The irony is that Pharisees in the bible are reviled even as people do exactly as they did...or worse.

This culture will intimidate the weak and fragile among us. To please God one needs faith and courage...to stand against the pretenders just as Jesus did. Be strong and very courageous! :) <><
